Trip down to Albany today, randomly happened on this restaurant using Google Maps. Google gave them a 4.9 rating. The food is EXCELLENT. Atmosphere is lovely, and the staff and just great. We will be back. Best Mexican restaurant that I've been to in the Capital District (and we live at Exit 16, so including Saratoga).

Everything was just amazing I’ve been waiting for an authentic Mexican restaurant and this definitely is it! I love Mexican food and it’s hard to come by a place like this I got the carne asada and a strawberry margarita on the rocks everything was so fresh and phenomenal!

Amazing asada tacos, carnitas tacos, and birria nachos. I do not particularly even like beans but their side of beans was also shockingly good. The inside is decorated well and its clean. The salsa verde is also fantastic. The only complaint I have was subpar service but it seemed like he was new and its not like our orders were wrong or anything he was just a little slow. Highly recommend will be returning.

Had a Mexican food craving n we decided to give this place a try. We are so glad we did because this is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. To start the chips n salsa we’re home made and absolutely amazing. Drinks were well priced. I ordered the enchiladas and they were delicious. The rice was well seasoned. This places blows other Mexican restaurants out of the water.
We absolutely love this place. I’ve had a lot of Mexican food in my life but never like this. The ingredients are obviously so fresh, from the margaritas (dangerously delicious) to the chips and salsa to the entrees to desserts. They have a lot of unique dishes I’ve never seen before. MUST TRY!!!
Come for the chips and salsa and stay for the mole. This was my second visit and it is one of my all time good Mexican restaurants, and I'm from Arizona so i have eaten my share of Mexican food. Keep up the good work El Rancho. You are great.
