Emack in Albany is a wonderful venue - for a quick cone or a meet up with friends. Orah has done an incredible job making this a fun & inviting space for all who walk in the door! Looking forward to the music on the summer stage :)

Good mooring! Are you craving some delicious ice cream?! The perfect spot to satisfy the cravings is here. The parking is street parking, but I always find parking no matter when I go. When you first enter the store, it gives you a warm vibe, which is perfect for eating ice cream! I went when it was high noon. When I got to the counter, Sam greeted me right away, and she offered excellent suggestions. It took me a while to decide on what to get because the menu has unique names. Sam offered me samples, which helped me make my decision. She was very professional even though I was standing there for a while, trying to decide what to get with asking for multiple samples. In my personal experience, some people get impatient when you can't decide right away. You can't go wrong with any flavor! The ice cream was super tasty and amazing. The seating area is very cozy and organized. It feels like you got teleported to your living room. One thing that caught my eye was the chess board on the table. Make sure to clean up after yourself because we all know you don't leave garbage around in your living room. Overall, I have to say the experience was amazing because of Sam. Shout out to Sam!

Emack & Bolio's was the last place in Albany that I visited, and I will say... their vegan ice cream was exceptionally good. I would have never known this was part of a chain unless I looked on their website and found multiple other locations (even outside the US!) I love that the place is fashioned into a kids' candy store - a place I wish I had in my own childhood. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Best part is: tons of free samples before you order! Emack and Bolio's did not have all the vegan flavors that were advertised on their website, but I did love the vegan coffee fudge that they had on their menu. A kid's scoop was the perfect size. In fact, the small scoop might have been a little too much. Unlike some vegan ice creams I've had (too icy, not creamy enough, overall bland), the vegan coffee fudge had a texture and flavor that tasted almost the same as a dairy base! If there's one place that will bring me back to Albany, it would be Emack & Bolio's.

Fantastic sweet shop! Bought the two scoops of Cookie Monster and coffee chip with waffle cones along with chocolate goodies. Their items are perfectly sweet. It’s got a cute little like sit down area with boardgames. Most hit spot if you have a sweet tooth!!

Wow. What a nice place. My friend told me to try this place out. I went in and fell in love with the interior. It’s small but oh so cozy. It’s still a bit chilly out so it was great to see a fire place. I wasn’t sure what flavor to pick, there seemed to be so many good ones, but Mikayla, who was very kind, recommended the toasted smoreo. I got that in a bowl and was blown away. I will be back for sure.

Got the regular sundae with the works. Comes with two solid homemade scoops, along with two wet toppings and two dry. So, hot fudge and melted peanut butter and Oreos and peanuts did the trick.

Nice quaint ice cream shop that makes ice cream and ice cream cakes from scratch. They also have baked goods, chocoloates, toys, books and knickknacks. They also have a mobile catering truck and host music events. Great atmosphere to hang out and relax.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had combined with live music and an amazing cozy atmosphere. They even had a comfy couch in front of a coffee table with a chess board set up ready to play. They have a wide variety of unique flavors plus frozen yogurt, sorbet, smoothies, and baked goods. This is a must-visit.

Wide selection of ice cream. I only got cake. Nice vibe. It was cold and rainy when I went but the outside seating must be really nice in the summer. I will go back to try the ice cream next time I'm in town.

The ice cream is way too soft and not as flavorful. Also, the waffle cone was stale. Everything should be fresh for a 2 scoop of ice cream that added up to over $10.
