The BEST sandwich around and macaroni salad that will blow your hair back. Get group of people working in there and the food is always fresh and delicious. I usually go there and have myself a big sandwich Saturday and I always get a different sandwich and it’s always a banger. The homies there know me as Jessica and I only have one critique, I miss the orangina.

We are in love with Cardona's, but we've been seeing other sandwiches because they keep screwing up our sandwich order. Unfortunately, this one is not 'the one'. Pretty pedestrian, really. Also, don't let the name fool you, there are no imports at genoa importing. No salami, no cheese, no olives, no peppers. The guy behind the counter rushed us out of there before we could look around, but there wasn't much to look at anyway.

Genoa is a true Italian deli, a gem and staple. The establishment that puts Loudonville on the map, I came in with a slightly odd request (due to my numerous allergens), of straight horseradish on my cutlet, bacon, red pepper, and onion sandwich (not horseradish mayo, not horseradish cheddar). The lovely hosts of Genoa spared no expense and went deep into the back to get the straight horseradish. Upon my takeout order feast, the kick from the horseradish was a perfect counter to the sweet red pepper with their sumptuous cutlets taking the forefront alongside a comfortable bacon and onion background to fulfill my wildest dreams. That, along with the quick service and friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home! Thanks for a great time.

I have finally found the perfect eggplant sandwich I’ve been craving since not being near the city anymore. Their Italian Summer wrap is amazing (I get it with the balsamic glaze, and ask for the eggplant cold). Sometimes I ask for it on a sub but have come to really enjoy having it in a wrap. I’ve had some of their other sandwiches which were also high quality and tasty combos. Macaroni salad is excellent!

Why go anywhere else or support some giant chain vs this amazing business? They made me feel welcome and made me an incredible sandwich. So thankful for place like this still surviving in this world.
