Staff was incredibly kind. I tried each type of chicken they offered and each was differently delicious. Big fan of the Rasta pasta as well. I'll be back.

This guy for some reason thinks it's OK to sneak in extra surcharges and taxes and not to mention extra extra charges for oxtail. For the plate I got at good religion. I could've went to Sugafoot Soul food that has way better customer service and atmosphere. $50 for a full plate. I know the economy has went up and I would've understood if he didn't try to hide the price from me. That was the only thing that hit a nerve. I actually had to ask for my receipt because he turned the monitor that shows you the price around. Why why why? Only went there once and wouldn't return unless all stores in America close down and he's the only one standing. Thought he was a yard man, but turns out bottymon

As someone who has eaten carribean food from Florida and other states, I would say, this place ranks high on my list. I had curry chicken, collard greens rice & peas and mac and cheese. Everything was well flavored and seasoned. I will definitely be back!!

For the first time, in a long time I have eaten oxtail that was not a brown stew rendition. The flavor was right, presented right and most importantly, i was charged accordingly

Good food . I discovered this place for the fir time last week and had a great experience and service from an elderly guy. I got charged $11.73 which is consistent to what they say for a chicken platter. As a happy costumer i came back this week , another employee was there today a young guy with a beard . I got the same jerk chicken with mac and cheese tho this week this guy charged me a $2 processing totaling $13.87 that’s a a 20% !! Credit card FEEE! that is totally new and wasn’t charged to me last week even tho I used credit card both times.
UPDATE: I went to back to the store today and had a great conversation with the employees, I told them that I’m a big advocate of supporting small businesses and I was willing to return in the future. I asked them to put a sign that mentions the $2 PROCESSING FEE that way the user can know in advance about this. I appreciate the sincerity and willingness from the employee to receive my constructive feedback. And I’ll be back to this restaurant in the future .

So I ordered the oxtails a large good thing I didn't make it all the way home so I told him to look at my food why there was only two pieces in there I go back to ask for my money back or more food he's like oh that's how I was supposed to be you know it's not good it has no flavor do not come here so waste of money

Food decent, but be careful. You pay by the pound and owner plays with the price and the scale right in front of you. Then when you say something he looks at you like a dummy. I only bought chicken and a few sides and price was outrageous. Good food but their dirty ways will run them out of business. Pure crooks!!!!! Not sure why they are playing with God with their name!!! Food good, but not worth $50 a plate for takeout, which it can easily come up to after owner does his tricks. Do Not Recommend!!!! Stay away, Stay Away!!!
