I always come here for the duck and the panna cotta... The duck here is the best in the area and consist since they opened. The potato and leek soup was also very good. My hubby got the salad, pasta special and the amaretto cherry Gelato and said it was delicious as well. I recommend all the foods here but note the bolognese here has cardimon which throws me off and the only place I don't prefer bolognese... But the duck is my fav anyways. They are also attentive to my food allergy here.

FOOD WAS AMAZING!!(as usual) We had the Pollo saltimbuca and chicken parm, but with vodka sauce. Highly recommend. The service was slower than usual, but it was very busy. I love how all staff assist with clearing the table after courses. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Favorite Italian restaurant by far.

Great time at one of your recommended restaurants, Grappa 72. We had seen the positive reviews here and there over the past many months and decided to give it a try. We're glad we did! The inside was a perfect balance of tastefully done interior, conversational level of background noise, staff were well groomed, handsomely appareled and courteous. The tables, serving dishes, cutlery and napkins were very classy. We were attended by Sabrina ( facially, a doppelganger for British actress Haley Atwell). She made sure the requests were followed accurately and in a timely manner. Two of us opted for glasses of wine, while my lovely wife requested a Lemon Drop Martini. All were delicious. The Bread they brought out was very notable. Crisp on the crust but so soft and warm on the inside. We were offered both Olive oil for dipping and Butter too. We had to discipline ourselves not to eat too much but it was a contest of the wills to resist "just one more slice, I swear". I added the delightful, tasty Mushroom Bisque to my request. We shared two of the Caesar Salads (one was too small for all 3 of us while two was just a little too much). A great salad with creamy dressing, crisp Romaine, shaved Parmesan cheese and toasted croutons. For our mains we had a Pollo Antica for Bonnie, Jodi had Penne Romano and I had the Filetto De Manzo (Filet Mignon). Very satisfying portions and delightful in taste, texture. For deserts, we shared a Creme Brulee, Tiramisu and Italian Cheesecake. None of the desserts survived our greedy forks. A fantastic meal in a hidden gem restaurant.

I live in Saratoga Springs and my wife and I frequently walk do many great restaurants for happy hour and dinners. There are terrify restaurants in Saratoga and too many to list here. There is one restaurant not in Saratoga and the name is Grappa 72. We have been going there from their opening year when we lived in Brunswick. Now we travel to grappa for dinner on site and takeout. There is no restaurant in the capital district including Saratoga that can match the food ,ambience, cleanliness and super staff as offered by Grappa 72! I continue to ask the owner Arman to move to Saratoga but so far he remains in Albany. Any selection from the menu is so so tasty and unforgettable. To mention details is irrelevant the fact is go there use a blindfold and point at the menu. Whatever you pointed at will be excellent. Happy dining is at Grappa 72!

On vacation and looking for some great food. Thank goodness for the honest reviews - we were worried we would be to underdressed on Tuesday coming from teen sports and called to check we were ok on casual dress. The food and service did not disappoint. For all 4 of us (2 picky teens in high school) to agree we had an amazing dinner. Highly recommend.

The food here is delicious. The bruschetta I had here has never left my mind and I always look forward to it and the other meals as well. My family and I have been here several times and always have a great experience. The staff is friendly and the owner himself as well. Good guy, cares about his employees and customers. 10/10.

Fancy Italian restaurant. Staff was very patient, friendly & accomodating with my 90 yr old mom. Food was amazing. I had the fettuccine with chicken. First time there and definitely not the last!
Can’t say enough wonderful things about the dinner experience at Grappa. Armand and his entire staff are wonderful. So attentive. Melina is always on point as the host. Just awesome. Menu selections are delicious. Atmosphere, Friday night jazz trio add the perfect touch. You must try Grappa!

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the area. We've been dining at Grappa '72 for at least ten years and have never had anything less than an amazing experience. The food is always outstanding, services is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortably elegant.
This was our first time at Grappa 72 and glad we went! We had a great evening from beginning to end. We chose a bottle of wine from the fairly extensive wine menu and my wife and I shared the special aranccini appetizer which was wonderful but a bit on the small side ... giving us the opportunity to have dessert! My wife had the special pasta entree with shrimp and mushrooms and I had the special entrée veal with scallops over mashed potato; both entrées were very good. We finished our meal with creme brule and carrot cake. Service was well timed and professional and the live music made for a very enjoyable evening. The drive from Malta was well worth it and we will definitely return when we get the chance.
