Halal Express Chicken and Gyros

The food is very mid and overpriced. They charge extra for white sauce , which most places give for free. However , they are open late and were probably the first place in Albany that was supplying people with chicken over rice . 3 out of 5 stars because they were one of the first doing it , however there probably 10 spots that do the halal food better now.

Old french fries only half a box.order 12 piece chicken gave me mostly wings.

I ordered six wings from Halal Express Chicken and Gyros hoping to find that nostalgic flavor I usually enjoy from places like Crown Fried Chicken. Unfortunately, the wings didn’t meet my expectations. I was looking for a balanced, well-seasoned fried chicken flavor, but these were overwhelmingly salty and lacked the depth I’m used to. It just wasn’t the flavor profile I was craving. Hopefully, they can take this feedback and improve upon it, because I’d love to come back and give it another try if the flavor is adjusted.

From the first bite, I knew this chicken was something special. Perfectly cooked, crispy, and bursting with flavor. The sides were just as good — fresh and tasty. The service was quick, and the staff were polite and welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot that nails everything, but this one does. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

No joke, this is some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Crunchy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection — it’s straight-up addictive. The fries were hot and crispy too, and the dipping sauces? Chef’s kiss. 😮‍💨👌 The workers were super chill and friendly, and the food came out fast. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re seriously missing out!

I was very disappointed with my recent order. The chicken wings came out very dark, as if they had been cooked in old oil. They didn’t look fresh at all and the taste reflected that. I was expecting better quality. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future
