When I called to place an order over the phone, the guy had an attitude, I ignored it until I picked up food from the restaurant and the young male was so careless, his attitude wasn’t the best. I’d just hire nicer people if I were you guys.

I don’t think it’s worth 18 dollars for a lamb chicken and rice, I understand it’s upstate but my days it’s kind of expensive. Overall food was pretty good, tasted good, and it was a disappointment at the same time due to the amount portions. I got more rice over the meat I order. I have no more and have lost me as a customer thank you for your service Halal Grub, I’ll eat some in NYC where portions are better and less expensive.

We stopped to grab Arby's, but saw this as we were walking up and it sounded good so we gave it a try! Umm YES!!! The man at the counter was super polite and promptly provided us with service and the food was absolutely delicious! I got a beef Kebab rice plater and my fiancé got a beef and lamb gyro with a strawberry banana smoothie. Everything was absolutely delicious. When we are in the area, we'll absolutely be back!
Guy at the desk didn’t care about his job at ALL but the food was great. Great falafel great sauce great smoothies
Found a variety of Afghan and Mediterranean dishes on the menu in a family-friendly setting. During my visit, I tried the lamb over rice, which was flavorful and generously portioned. The vegetables were crisp, and the sauce complemented the dish well. However, the service was a bit slow, and the ambiance could use some improvement to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it’s a decent spot for those craving halal Afghan cuisine in the area.
Great find. Always quality food.

after moving to Albany, I found this family run establishment that serves excellent food with very good pricing. I go frequently and the food served is consistent.

I recently tried Halal Grub and was thoroughly impressed! The food is delicious, fresh, and clearly much healthier than the options at Arby's next door. The staff is respectful, and they provide quick service while preparing the food with care and attention to detail. The flavors are authentic, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner, Halal Grub is definitely the better choice. I'll be coming back for more!
