This is a hibachi-style restaurant. You sit around a giant griddle, a waitress will take your drink orders, and then what you want to eat. Everybody pretty much orders something that's going to be cooked on the large griddle in front of you. That is why most people come here. I had a dish that was a mixture of scallops, shrimp, steak, and lobster. You have your choice of fried rice or noodles. These are all flavored with various mixtures of flavored liquids. The noodles were definitely tasty. The kids in our group were super amused. Because the cooking is done quite theatrically, with large fires at the very beginning before they start cooking anything, a lot of spatula, tapping, and flipping, flipping zucchini pieces into people's open mouths, and that sort of thing. So part of eating here is that show. If you like that sort of thing, this is definitely your place. All of the proteins that were cooked on the hibachi grill in front of us were actually cooked quite perfectly. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the steak was perfectly cooked, same with the lobster, etc. And they have a good variety to choose from. If you have a somewhat picky eater, they can just get edamame and white rice for example. They have a nice selection of sakes, but they come in a small bottle, so it's a little bit too much for a single person. They also have a number of cocktails, and they are definitely on the sweet and tropical side.
The service was great, and the theater of all of the fire making and spatula tossing can be quite fun. My problem was that there was a very large group of what looked like late teens or early college aged individuals on a table behind us. And literally they screamed every 2 minutes. They screamed when there was fire, they screamed when their zucchini pieces were tossed at them, etc., so it was really, really loud. We were in the room with a very high ceiling, so I'm sure that made it worse. If you make a reservation you can ask for a seat on the quiet, bar side. It was clear that it was a lot quieter there.
The service was good, plentiful, and properly cooked, although I wished they had picked up our empty soup and salad plates sooner. Our chef had clearly learned the routine, but a bit of smiling would have been nice. However, in his defense, it was probably really, really hot over that steaming hot griddle.
All in all, if you want a bit of theatrical cooking in front of you, you will get a kick out of this place. I always lean towards a quieter dinner out.
I took new team members here for team building dinner. It went very well, everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. Fun and tasty.
They can do a better job with the food extractors! As soon as you open the door you get hit with the smell of grease! After that, drinks are great, food is good…
The chef did a flawless job on cooking.
Very good hibachi and the Japanese chicken appetizer is a must try!
Family did hibachi for our daughter's graduation celebration (as per her request). Food was delicious, hibachi chef was fun and did all the cool tricks. We had all the hibachi menu cooked and then shared. Steak, chicken, seafood was all cooked to perfection. Our plant based eaters had their food cooked first, so no cross-contamination. Definitely going back. This is a crowd fav.
Call ahead for a table.
Didn’t not get noodles with our swordfish hibachi Togo order. And the yum yum sauce was Insanely watered down
Ok Hana review! - we walked in the dining room ambience was great. Went to hibachi room- looks like a jail lunch room. The host said if you want drink special come to the bar and bring to table. Went to bar said no drink specials 😝 (same host). Jackets not off party of 10 start demanding for entire dinner to be given (waitress was the rudest waitress ever to wait) tells the one person out of party of 10 that she can’t get general tso chicken she must order off hibachi. I gave her the business and Nina gets her dinner she wanted but not before they said “we can move you to the dining room” haha. Ok my 🍹 drink I managed to get was awful. Then I have a plate in my hand that I want to put a couple pieces of evs appetizer on the waitress starts playing tug of war with the plate 😂 with me.. I won.. I got the plate (really??) the chicken made ev say he was gonna throw up as well as another person on our table that got chicken. They made sure to skip me completely for sake pass lol and gars swordfish tasted like it went bad last night. Rude staff- horrible food- will never go back. Do not recommend. No soups or salads included either- at least pass the sake/ booooo. Also forgot my sons sashimi but didn’t charge

Terrible service, had to remind waitress that I ordered a bar drink, appetizers came at different times( I had finished mine by the time my sons came) waitress never asked if we wanted desert. Apparently they k ow wait staff is awful, because they automatically add a 20% tip to your bill ( this was a party of 2)
