Always great food at Hana's..easy to get to and plenty of parking. Sat at the bar and took advantage of their happy hour and ordered the Avocado Roll and money bags which is their version of crab rangoon...both were excellent. Then had the filet hibachi..cooked perfectly and wonderful flavor and good price for the amount of food you get. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they offer a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Just wish the bar was a bit larger..gets full quickly on busy nights.

My wife and I went for lunch on 3/23/2024. We sat across from the station where clean dishes, silverware setups, and spare napkins were obtained for table settings. Not a great location, especially since the place was empty. We each ordered the lunch portion Chicken dish ($14). The menu suggests chicken with mixed veggies, a rice choice and soup. The soup was fabulous. The dish consisted of six portions of food. 1.5 chicken, 1.5 mixed veggies, 3.0 rice. The menu did not portray what was presented. If the dish presented was their normal proportion, the menu should have read "rice choice with chicken and veggies".The chicken was really good, as was the rice. The veggies (broccoli, onion, mushroom, zucchini) was total garlic. As a self respecting Italian, I am well aware of the spice. It should not have overtaken the taste of the wonderful mix of veggies. My wife took ill, and we had to leave after just a few bites. We wrapped up the leftovers, paid the check (including tip), and left. We ate the rice for dinner, making stir fry with the rice and chicken. $40 (including tip) was too much for the improperly spiced food.

I gave this a one star, which was difficult to do.. the food was great, however... we were in their private hibachi area, there's two hibachi tables in there. right above the tables is the sprinkler system. The cast-iron pipe was so coated in old cooking oil, when they turn the tables on to heat them up, the heat made the oil loosen and drip onto the tables cooking surface... yeah the chef clean them up, but what are the chances that dripped into the food while he was cooking? Nobody was paying attention. We were all looking at the chef do his thing. I even reached out to the manager through an email weeks have gone by with no response. This is a Health code violation.

Hana is a treasure! Hana is a terrific Japonese restaurant with a great bar. They serve hibachi, sushi, noodles, etc. I had not been for quite a while and we chose it as a place to meet up for one of our gals happy hours. Well, let me tell you- this has GOT to be the best deal in town. For happy hour 4:30-6 there are discounted drinks, appetizers, and sushi rolls. For the three of us gals, we ordered cocktails and each of us chose 2 appetizers apiece for all to share. We basically ordered most of the appetizer menu with selections that included vegetable tempura, sushi rolls, chicken skewers, spring rolls, etc. Every dish was done to perfection -- and presented with style and finesse. The cocktails were also quite lovely. The service was helpful, friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Sooooo upset. Tried to have a nice afternoon lunch. Placed our order and saw a rat run right by our feet! Have been coming here for years, spending hundreds of dollars each time we have come here, so maybe they should invest in getting the place exterminated because having a rat run by while you’re trying to eat is not ok!!! And when we told them that there was a rat they were not too concerned!!

Called to reserve a table for hibachi lunch, when we were sat we were told it would be 30 min before we could order to let the table heat up. We decided the kids wouldn’t wait and sat at a table. The food was honestly just ok. Sauces tasted off. Kids chicken was in a weird watery liquid. I ordered the scallops combo teriyaki. I was served 2 scallops sliced into thirds for $25! I did push them over on the plate in the picture they were plated nicer. The waiter was totally fine and we planned on tipping him well despite the mediocre food. The restaurant added the tip to the receipt already which really surprised me for a regular table party of 4. Would prefer to dine at the better Japanese’s steakhouses in the area.

My new favorite place for Happy Hour! The decor is delightful, Felicia is a perfectly attentive bartender and so very pleasant. The sushi is fresh and outstanding. Prices are unbelievably reasonable.Dietary restrictions: I’m always happy to have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. The miso soup is also delicious

Fun, even on a Monday! A last minute decision brought us here. We were seated at a hibachi table with another group who were celebrating a birthday. We had fun and enjoyed our chosen hibachi dinner. I chose shrimp with noodles. Mmmm they really do have the best noodles, according to my young family member, who is a regular. He's not wrong. The shrimp was absolutely delicious with the noodles and vegetables. Definitely recommend the hibachi! Our master hibachi chef was friendly and enthusiastic and made it a fun time for all. He was engaging and apparently takes pride in his craft.

One of my favorite places to get sushi in the Albany. The service is always fast, kind wait staff, and a relaxed chill vibe. The hibachi is entertaining and tasty.

Excellent food and service. Appreciated that they have the more traditional ginger dressing instead of the mayo based one. Salad greens were fresh and crisp. Sushi very good with some creative original presentation. Medium rare steak was exactly medium rare. Staff very pleasant and accommodating.
