I got the Teriyaki box dinner. It was excellent. It came with , six sushi pieces, six shrimp pieces, the tariyaki chicken, white rice, salad, soup, fried veggies! For $17 plus tax! What a meal! Thank you!

This is, without a doubt, the best asain, hibachi and Chinese food place in the area! Their filet mignon is always perfectly cooked. Their chicken fried rice has a flavor that's 10x better than any other place in town ... and I've personally tried at least 15 other places in the Capital Region to try to find an alternative that's equivalent. There are none that are as consistent, and none are nearly as good. I've moved about 15 miles away, but this place is still the absolute best in the area. You have to go to NYC or Boston to find anything close.

One of my go to places for Sushi and highly recommended! The food is always fresh and delicious and when I used to work nearby I would order a few times a week. They also have really good lunch specials and most recently I used them to cater a party and all of the sashimi and sushi was fantastic. A+

I've eaten at many of the Capital District's sushi restaurants and Asian Bistros and Hokkaido is by far my favorite in Albany. I used to work nearby and would get lunch or dinner there at least once a week. The food is always fresh and their many different rolls, which are my favorite, are fresh, plump and always great-tasting and fun to eat and are always served with a generous portion of wasabi, soy sauce and ginger. The service is quick and with the Covid-19 pandemic, it's been take-out only (but that may have changed recently - you should call and check) and they take proper precautions to protect everyone. Whether you dine in or take out, live locally or are travelling and looking for some great sushi or other Asian delicacies along your travels, Hokkaido is located on Central Ave, right off Exit 5 (Everett Road Exit) of I-90, where you can jump right back on the highway. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed this place! It is a beautiful quaint location. It is nicely and modernly decorated. It was perfect for some alone time with my fiancee. The drinks and sushi we're great. I wasn't in love with the sesame chicken but everything was great! Service was quick and polite. Will definitely be returning.
