I love a traditional diner, and this must be a local favorite based on my random visit and the experience I had. I'd definitely go again. Great service, good food, breakfast all day and you can sit at the counter and watch the short order cook make some of food on a big flat top griddle just like the diners of old.

Having not been here in a very long time decided to try something new for breakfast. The building still looks like it’s going to fall down in a day but all was well. As someone else said it has a cheers like vibe. I think I was the only one eating here that was not greeted by first name. The waitress was warm and friendly, and I sat at the counter. Cooking takes place both in the back and some on a grill directly behind the counter.
The breakfast menu was fairly extensive supplemented by blackboard specials. I ordered the veggie omelette and added cheese, and when I asked for possible substitutions for the home fries, there were no options given. I suggested a sliced tomato and was told that there would be an up charge, which I agreed to. The coffee was good hot fresh served in a ceramic mug.
The omelette was more like a scramble by that I mean, the contents were not contained within folded egg, but the veggies and cheese were throughout. It was a huge portion. The price was fairly high, even allowing for what is going on with eggs. Somehow breakfast wound up being $27 with a 20% tip. I don’t quite know how that happened even though you can see the check just like I can. Overall, it was a very good breakfast and I would say almost too much food. I could tell they cook with a lot of butter and between that on the cheese, it just may have been too much. The atmosphere is wonderful as I always look for places that have a 50s and 60 is kind of vibe, particularly with cooking directly behind the counter. I will be back.

The platonic ideal of an egg breakfast at a diner.

My mother, sister and I attempted to bring our toddlers, a two-year-old and three year-old to IHOP this morning… The line was 45 minutes so we pulled up Google maps, search for breakfast, and found this hidden gem just five minutes down the road!… I’m so glad IHOP could not accommodate us! We have found our new favorite breakfast establishment! The service was absolutely exceptional, the food was delicious - top to the bottom we had an incredible experience. The staff were so accommodating to our tired and hungry, toddlers, and promptly help us meet every need we had. We cannot wait to return and try more of this yummy menu!

If you're looking for a solid diner meal, this is a good one to go to. We were looking for classic diner food and that's what we got. The portions are huge. I got the meat lovers omelette and my fiancee got the French toast with bacon. We recommend both options.
This is a no frills diner. Quick service and good place to go if you're on the move.
