This is a very great cafe. The food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They treated us with respect and kindness. The whole experience was amazing. The inside of the building was so impressive that you could feel at home with the whole experience. The outside was just as beautiful and peaceful. I have not captured the experience on my camera but trust me if you can then you should stop in for a wonderful experience in food and service.

Now our favorite spot for breakfast or lunch in Albany. They can accommodate g/f or vegan beautifully, and the food was delicious. Both times we ate here we sat outside on the lovely patio. Our server Samantha provided the best service we’ve ever had. A good find.

What an ambiance. We were received by the kindest hostess and server and then seated in the middle of this historic dining room. Both indoor and outdoor seating were picturesque. The food was also decent although I found the omelets cooked in a little bit extra oil as I could, it's residue on my plate and it bothered me a little. The side salad was amazing with a little bit of extra dressing for my liking. We tried their hot chocolate with Irish cream which was neither hot nor cold somewhere in the middle but tasted decent.

Food delicious as always. Service a little slow, in particular at the end when it's time for the check. Their lemon ricotta pancake special is fantastic. Eggs Benedict amazing with rich, unbroken! sauce.

Beautiful restored former mansion (and doctor's office!) hugely popular with locals, so get there early, it fills quickly. Breakfast options are plentiful and delicious - even the typically boring side of potatoes was excellent and flavorful. I had an awesome eggs Benedict that was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was polite and efficient too. Fairly laid-back vibe, several dining areas so it wasn't too noisy. I also happened to meet (and interrupt) the owners while looking around - they were eating themselves but graciously spent time explaining the painstaking work it took to restore the place, down to using dental tools to remove some of the paint on the old decorative mouldings!
Kid-friendliness: Families were there with their kids and everyone seemed happy!

Best brunch I’ve had in a long time! The poached eggs over pumpkin risotto was creative and absolutely delicious. Server was attentive and the rooms are beautiful. It was a bit noisy but otherwise an absolutely wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

A lovely little secret garden in the heart of Albany welcomes you past the iron gate. Inside is another wonderful surprise with cozy rooms and seating. And the food!! This was an amazing delight in all aspects and I will reserve my visits to this treasure for special occasions.
