First visit. Open table messed up reservation time, so we were 45 minutes early: Not an issue, they found us the only remaining table. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Service was very good. Loved our entrees. The menu has enough choices, we have to go back and explore further. Definitely recommend.

Friend and I ordered the meze platter, cigar rolls, and dolma. Beverages ordered was Apple tea and pistachio espresso (caffeine free). Tasted great
Could only find one vegetarian option in the entrees and appetizers were really filling, had to take leftovers home! Ambiance was great, thank you!

I miss the the lentil soup that was featured in the previous iteration of the restaurant but do appreciate the increased menu selection and the increase in hours open. Continues to make Upper Madison ‘city living at its best'.
My friend and I arrived at 8 and each had a delicious dinner. They accommodated my dietary needs beautifully.

Alinazik is delicious. Portions are big. Salad, little ezme platter and pita on the house. Employees are always kind. Great Turkish restaurant. Recommended.

Wonderful Mediterranean restaurant, the food is authentic, great wine list, and the service has been excellent every time we come here. The owner and servers want you to enjoy your experience, and they are gracious hosts, they are never trying to rush you out to flip tables. The food is excellent and by far the star of the show, but the whole experience of eating here is what makes this a 5 star restaurant.

Wonderful Turkish food prepared only and served by responsive courteous staff. Nice atmosphere that takes you away from downtown Albany.

So glad I went to Kismet for lunch on a Tuesday. Chef Oscar prepared hummus and soft pita with fresh Tahini straight from Turkey! I t was a smooth light refreshing taste. He also prepared lamb chops with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Not ordinary potatoes these. Turmeric and nutmeg made them pair with the lamb deliciously. Making reservations through open Table last minute was a breeze. Doordash and Uber eats dashed in to pick up lunch orders while I was there with no wait times. Staff was delightful and knowledgeable about wine pairing and recipes. Definitely a five star experience. The music and atmosphere was simply elegant clean and tasteful. I promptly told Engin ( the owner) to open up a dozen more stores. This food is not to be missed.
Service and food quality/prep is excellent. I've been to thousands of restaurant experiences where everything is OK, but meh. Our server was spot on attentive, without any hovering. Kismet is worth many repeat visits!
Enjoyed the food and service here quite a bit. The sauces, appetizers, meats and coffee were all on point.

Lamb dishes are well seasoned and prepared at Kismet. Don't miss the poached pear filled with a vanilla marscapone and enjoy the Turkish tea. It was a perfect evening in Albany.
I like the atmosphere. I have tried many dishes and they are very delicious. The service is great, Zeynep was very fast and organized while serving. Treats were also available.
