We had a very fine experience with sophisticated flavors. A definite 5 stars from all four of us, two of which are particularly picky, and the others had years of Mediterranean food sampling experience. We loved the food, have literally ordered 9 dishes to share and enjoy, and not a single one was subpar.

We eat at Kismet often, and they are always wonderful. They just catered a post-funeral reception for us for about 40 people. It was amazing. The food was very well prepared and all delicious. There was a varied crowd at the event, many of whom were unfamiliar with Mediterranean food. Everyone enjoyed all of it: one overheard comment—“I’m not sure what I am eating but it is very good.”

We ordered in advance from Kismet’s catering options. The food was so fresh and delicious. The guests raved about it and all of the leftovers were promptly eaten. Communication was good and kind. First time here. The food was good but not what I was expecting. I ordered the Moussaka which I have had in the past. It usually has potatoes and a cream sauce. This did not but did have the eggplant and ground beef. It was tasty but not what I thought it would be. My wife had the Lamb shish kabob. That was very good. The atmosphere was dark and cozy and the seating was comfortable. We will return again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Did a DoorDash delivery of the Classic Gyro Plate while staying at a hotel in Albany. I was really very pleasantly surprised! TONS of meat and it was really cuts of meat, not the usually gyro mystery meat. Fantastic flavor too. Lots of rice to round it out and keep me from feeling hungry, and these salad was super yummy. Not that the salad was small, but it was good enough that I wish there was more. I really liked this meal and would order from them again if I am ever back in Albany.J.Ja

As a Turkish person, I can confirm that this is not authentic Turkish food. The food we had was really bad including babaganush, chicken and lamb. The grilled chicken was undercooked, and when we asked them to replace it with properly cooked chicken, they brought us burnt chicken that was RAW on the inside. It was even worse than the previous one! We couldn't believe it when they told us that people in the US prefer their chicken undercooked!PS: They don’t even have the most fundamental Turkish drink, Ayran.
