I'll be the first to admit that this place is mostly not vegan--and if you're anything like me, their pages worth of Italian steakhouse options look awful tempting. However, the options I did have were amazing, along with the great service you'd expect from this sort of place.

The first time I went to this cafe, I was so impressed, I booked it to have my sons’s birthday dinner a month in advance. I was misinformed by 2 of the staff about a room off the dining room that could accommodate 15 people. Only to get there and they set up a table in the back of the dining area for my family and I. It was so tight we hardly had elbow room. Also, one of my family members had to bring her baby and we were told they could not accommodate us with a high chair because it would be considered an extra chair. I want to also point out that I called early the day off to asked if they could accommodate 5 more people even if they didn’t sit at the same table with us and we were told no, because they didn’t want people moving from one table to the next. I feel as if they did not want us there and even at dinner the waitress let it be known that we needed to be ready to order because if not she had other people to go and serve. I believe people judge people by the color of their skin or by status sometimes they don’t know who you are but they judge you for one thing or another. Mind you, I myself I’m a nurse my partner own his own business, Courtney and Jeff work for a big real estate firm for over 22 years. And, I say all that to say this not because we are a blended group, you don’t know us so don’t treat us unkind and with biases. It is very heart breaking because even the children were talking about how we got treated and to know this is the world that they have to navigate through. Very heartbreaking., I also, I want to point out, our bill was over $600 and we also gave the unkind waitress a $120 tip, which I really don’t think she deserves but god we take care of people like her and the other that treated us unkind. They don’t even deserve a star😭

Excellent experience! We came in from out of town for a wedding and were looking for a casual Italian spot. This place hit all the marks.
Service was swift, kind, and helpful. Restaurant was full of locals, always a great sign. We didn’t order an appetizer, but they let us have some bread for free upon request.
Beverages were great. Sam Adams Oktoberfest on draft was on point. House Riesling was as expected. Diet Coke was better than McDonald’s (highest compliment).
Food was excellent. Generous portions, red sauce was top-notch, great bread for sandwiches, well made chicken and eggplant fried cutlet. Fries were great. All food was good value.
If we are ever in town again, will be coming back.

The food is always delicious here. The black and blue filet is outrageous. I only wish they had some gluten free desserts like creme brulee!

My husband and I were so pleased to see so many vegan options on the menu! It seems rare to get that many vegan choices in a restaurant upstate. He had the new age bolognese which was so flavorful, we shared the delicious buffalo cauliflower bites with vegan ranch, and I had a pizza! So lovely for a vegan diet to be well accommodated and thought behind the dishes.

Really disappointing no reservations under 7 ppl, showed up just before 5 with 5 ppl inc a mobility issue and only one table would accommodate. And It was occupied. 40 min wait. Not sure we'll try again. This was our third try
Service was good. The fish fry was terrible. They ended up getting eggplant parm which was pretty good.

Food is consistently very good. Servers are terrific & attentive. The only negative is a VERY noisy environment, so much so hard to hear the other party at a 2-person table. Would have made a great date night otherwise. Note: the carrot cake w/pecans tops off a meal! Pic is of the chicken marsala.
