Best. Favorite. Restaurant. Ever. Anytime we make a trip to Albany we go to Lanie's. Their drinks don't compete with anywhere else and don't get me STARTED on their food. Their coconut shrimp is the best hands down and their sauce for it is rich with coconut and pineapple chunks. If you're ever in the area - it's a MUST go. It does get busy and they don't take reservations, but do have a waitlist. Service is great, never had a bad experience here.

Our absolute favorite anytime spot. Menu is a can't miss. Food is always fresh and prepared excellently. While the ambiance feels a bit dated, this is not even an afterthought due to excellent offerings and service.

I have always Loved Lanie’s but I have to say every since Lainey sold the place to new owners, I feel like the food is not the same. I ordered something simple chicken quesadillas and they were bad. I hate to say so. I’m thinking they must have a new chef or just a new crew but it’s just not the same. Miss you Laney.

Above average food in a cozy family friendly setting. No frills dining with an average Italian American selection. We got the Lanie's special NY strip stuffed with Shrimp. Shrimps we're jumbo and good quality. Steak was subpar. Would recommend to those looking for a quiet low key dinner spot in Loudonville.
