I have ordered many items specifically encebollados and even asked for delivery to my workplace in where my coworkers are hooked they called it “ the fish soup” made of tuna fillets so good got to try, I wish they come close to Delmar to a plaza so there will be plenty of parking spaces

The guys who serve there, I think they should be more attentive to the customers and more friendly, it's not the first time that they always forget something in the order if you don't remember it, they don't bring it to you, and they always bring cold food to the table. and if someone asks you for a favor, make a gesture that says everything is a little uncomfortable, the only one who attends comes and is attentive, he is a boy who is always there

Just in case you love Ecuadorian🇪🇨 food, and particularly encebollado, and don't know about the best spot to get this perfect bowl of seafood & onion soup, Encebollados "El Idolo" on Madison Ave across from Washington Park is an absolute must. Bar none one of the best bowls of encebollado I've ever had here or in Ecuador proper, and this is the only restaurant my Ecuadorian family expresses any interest in eating at/ordering from for any occasions where we get the chance to eat outside food. I'm sure the other food is also excellent, but as the name indicates, encebollado is their expertise, and they make an incredible bowl, with quick service. They have all the Ecuadorian sodas as well, and ají at every table, with all the fixings for a traditional bowl, and it always hits the spot. It is a generous portion that I am never able to finish, and incredibly fresh.
Ecuadorian food deserves to get its shine around here with the vast and wonderful growing community of Ecuadorian folks living in the Capital Region, and Encebollado El Idolo is a shining beacon of exemplary traditional eats. If you have room for dessert, make sure you take a little walk across the street and get yourself a slice of tres leches or some pan dulce from Daisies!!
I am personally overjoyed to see the culinary cultural renaissance taking place in our area; no longer do we have to drive down to the city to experience cuisines from so many places globally, now we can taste the world within a 10-20 minute drive, or even walking distance.
