I’ve been eating here since I was a child, 30+ years ago. The quality of the food has been stellar, every time. The owner truly cares and is incredibly hospitable and kind. A beautiful place with beautiful food. I only wish they would re-open for dine-in service, the inside is magnificent; delivery just isn’t the same.

Honestly, I was on my way to another restaurant when I passed Mamoun's and it caught my eye. I spontaneously ordered there instead, and I'm so glad I did! It is so cozy inside, the service for my takeout order was efficient and kind, and the food (falafel eggplant pita & halva) was perfection. Such a hidden gem; I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

On Saturday evening 7/19/25 I ordered a chicken salad. It's a large, delicious salad with marinated chicken over the top of it. It was absolutely amazing . The person that waited on me was accommodating and very nice. I highly recommend Mamoun's Restaurant in Albany, NY !

This is a take out only restaurant. Call and make your order and save the bs fees. The food is simple but delicious. Well balanced and savory eastern Mediterranean food. Great for feeding lots of ppl family style.
