I've been going there for years. Is the food a Michelin Star quality? Nope. But it's good for what it is. The turkey is top-notch. The staff are lovely. The views sitting outside are the best. Remember this is a restaurant that services a golf club and its food should be compared to country club food (notoriously bad by the way at most clubs) they do a very good job compared to their peers.
This place almost has a neighborhood bar feel to it. Simple and classic bar food. The biggest positive is the prices for the food and drink. We had a burger, sandwich and a small pizza which were all fine plus a few drinks and the bill was $20 less than expected. Add in great golf cart views and we will be back.

I really enjoyed Martel Restaurant. It has your basic appetizers, sandwiches and soups. A full size bar and wonderful customer service. I will definitely come back again.

We went too the Mothers Day Brunch and were very disappointed. We have actually attended their Mothers Day Brunch 3 times in past years. The recent Brunch was a shadow of itself. The buffet was so/so at best. The entire event appeared to be on it’s last legs to me. In addition it was overpriced for what we got. At the end of our experience there was only one other table of diners. I asked a waitress if the event was well attended, as we came toward the ending hour. She said that it was not well attended and that several people who had made reservations were know shows. I am not certain of how Martels does on a daily basis, but this will be our last Mother’s Day there.
