My wife and I have been looking for a good breakfast spot to eat. We have move up here from the city. We use to go to the famous Katz deli to get a pastrami sandwich. We decided to come here to get a pastrami sandwich. Let me tell you I felt like I was at Katz Maurice pastrami sandwich was just as good and really tasty. We found a great spot that we will be definitely revisiting again. I highly recommend this place ?.

Pitstop with Trailways bus to Montreal and managed to get a delicious ? seafood sandwich with all the toppings and had to admit this is a family business one should support instead of the Subway next door that was my original destination.It’s hard to buy stuff (yogurt) when there is no price tag but I have noticed that restaurants have to pay for ingredients that keep going up in price. Regular items are on the menu before you order your sandwich.Went across the street and got a Greek yogurt for $2.50

Five stars for catering. We had our annual Office holiday get together and Maurice's Deli nailed it. Consider them for your office lunches. Everything is labeled and packaged tightly. We got pasta salad, toss salad, lots of sandwiches, soups, and everything was provided, right down to the croutons for the salad. There were several different dressings to choose from. And of course the best pickles. We just love this place.

Ordered a couple of sandwich platters and sides for a lunch & learn presentation I had up in the area. Super friendly and helpful staff, gracious for the order I placed (lunch for 15). Sandwiches and sides were fresh and delicious. I'll be calling again when I have more lunches in Albany.

I've given four stars instead of five because I remember when they used to serve the roast beef on the sandwiches while it was still hot/warm. It's still delicious and quality meat, but it was cold this time when they sliced it. Really miss that warm roast beef!

Good food although generally on the more expensive side for what it is. I’d be more inclined to go more often if the price was just a bit lower, however for a treat every now and again this is a great option in the area.

I visited Maurice Delicatessen on 08/14/23. Was my first time in Albany and coming from NYC. I literally just had came off the charter bus and in need of coffee. I walked in and place was so clean and nice . The staff was also very nice to me. I have to say I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was soooo fresh and tastey. I wish they were in NYC. I never had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich taste so great. I should have brought 2 lol sooo yummy . When I go back to Albany they will be my first stop. We need you guys in the city . I’m planning to move to Albany and if so I will be a frequent customer. Thanks for the food and great service! You rock -by JoJo the lady in pink

Great local sandwich spot. They have in-house coffee, soft drinks such as bottled Starbucks coffee, chips, soups, desserts, salads, etc. You're bound to find something that makes your belly happy. It is also a very warm environment and it's across from a popular street so the place can be a quiet place for an afternoon sandwich or a lively go-to spot when there's a concert across the street, etc. The aesthetic is home-towny. I appreciated this place. They were ready to serve me. The place next door lacked customer service as I walked in and the lady was looking at me without saying anything until I walked up to the counter and asked if she had a menu, which was sitting right in front of her. No one else was at the restaurant, so I walked next door to this place and it was an upgrade in service. One of the gentlemen even walked my tray to my table since I had a suitcase from traveling. Thanks
