I am suprised by the high rating of this place. At first glance it seems like a really cool spot with fresh food made to order. But the guy working there was not friendly at all and acted very judgy. I could get over that easily if the food was good, but it wasn't. I got sausage/egg/cheese on a bagel. The bagels came from a plastic sleeve and were mushy even after being toasted. He asked how i wanted the eggs cooked, acknowedged my response, but in the end completely ignored it. He completely overcooked the egg in a dish in an convection oven with the cheapest fake american cheese on top. Also, i asked for 2 eggs and only got one. It felt like he judged me immediately upon walking in and barely listen to my order. I will never go back, not just because the food was mediocre, but more so because I was made to feel unwelcome. Still looking for a decent bagel or breakfast sandwich in Albany. This place ain't it.

I would not recommend anybody that I know to go there. Small portions for a lot of money. Customer service is no good and you don't feel welcome into their establishment and the bald head gentleman that waited on me. His customer service was no good, but another young lady came in after me and he was so happy to see her after how her Monday was? I told me it was my first time there. I think it depends on the color of your skin

This was my first experience at this establishment. Took my wife and I a minute to soak up the atmosphere, which at first was a little offsetting but still was charming. I had ordered the supreme avocado toast and a hot breakfast tea, my wife had ordered a sandwich which she absolutely enjoyed. I'm not much for reading reviews before I leave one, I don't want to have my reviews influenced by others. That being said the staff at first was a little gruff, or grouchy understandable given the heat outside and the temperature given off from the kitchen. We enjoyed our meal immensely and will look forward to returning as time allows. Thank you much for all of your hard work and dedication doing what you enjoy.

Review as a delivery driver, food is almost always ready to pickup when you arrive. The workers acknowledge you and wait on you as soon as possible and are always polite. Even when they are busy they try to atleast ask who you're there for and give you a time frame when it'll be ready if it isn't already done.
As a customer, food is great and the place is welcoming.

I have eaten in and taken out from Mr. Bumble’s Cafe on numerous occasions for the last 3.5 years. NEVER a bad meal or encounter. Food is always so fresh, bright, and yummy! He has the best ingredients, homemade dressings, and grilled chicken. Service is always outstanding AND friendly! The owner even made a change to the toast app to make my ordering experience easier! Everything on his menu is fantastic! If in the area, Mr. Bumble’s Cafe is a MUST have!

I come here 3/4 times a week for their sausage egg and cheese on a sesame seed bagel and service is always great, food is GREAT. Such a little gem on new Scotland. A staple if you work or live in the area 🙃 also the best fruit bowl side I’ve ever had. Actually fresh, ripe, high quality fruits!
Mr. Bumbles has the best salads in Albany! Their sandwiches and drinks are also very good. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the space is very community oriented.

New to the capital region and our friend brought us here. A beautiful welcoming café! We had, The New Scotland Clucker, The Albany Cardinal, and The Supreme Avacado. Every dish was perfect and delicious. The owner was so kind and informative! We also found out the cookies are made by an 8th grader and a dollar from every cookie sold he puts into their college fund! What a beautiful way to support your community! 10 out of 10!
