Been coming here and ordering take out for the last three years I’ve been in the area. I’ve never been disappointed. Sushi is fresh always and the hibachi is great. The staff is really attentive and friendly too. I would recommend the teriyaki lunch specials or any of the special rolls. The udon bowls are great too.

Been here a handful of times now, almost always at slow hours because of my schedule. For an american japanese restaurant, it’s much better than most. The food is good and presented well and the place is clean. The decor could probably be better but it is simple and minimalist which I kind of love. I’m particularly a big fan of the film photos on the staircase wall.The waitress that served me yesterday (3:30 on 11/27) was friendly and in my opinion the best server I’ve had here so far.Thanks again for a solid lunch ?

Quiet place & the food is pretty good. Try not to get seated by the door when it's cold out ... It gets real drafty by the door.
I ordered an all Salmon sashimi dinner and when it arrived immediately smelled something rancid. To my disgust the fish was slimy and smelled rotted. Never getting this again at least not

This is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant in the Albany area. Why? Because of the following: 1.) Always fresh dishes and ingredients. 2.) Unbelievable deals especially at lunch. 2.) No frills low key quiet little area. All the great Japanese dishes including tatsu-age fried chicken. Hard to find establishments that can do this chicken like they do in Japan. Plus their sweet mayo dipping sauce is out of this world. All this at a great price. Their lunch specials are such a great deal and so much yummy food. My fav Japanese food stop.

Came here on a Thursday for lunch, we were seated promptly and each of us ordered the lunch roll special. The sides listed on the menu are not what come with it (i was expecting to have a choice of edamame and another appetizer, plus a choice of soup or salad, what i got was soup and salad with no other choices). I ordered the spicy tuna roll and spicy salmon roll, rather than being sushi with spicy sauce on top the fish was minced in with ???. Seemed like filler and not like alot of fish. The rolls were also smaller. For the price it was a good value but I think next time I'll try sashimi so I can get real (not minced or mixed) fish!
