We came on a Sunday night with family. We had reservations, but we stood at the entrance for longer than normal, waiting for someone to seat us. The bar tender had to go to the back to get someone. The apps were average…nothing to write home about. The chicken Marsala was disappointing. They burnt one side of one of the chicken breasts, and they had that burnt side face down, so I didn’t see it….until I took a bite! The sauce and chicken tasted burnt. It lacked any good Marsala/wine flavor. There really wasn’t much sauce to speak of. It was very oily. All in all, it’s not in a great section of town, the food wasn’t that great, and there’s too many other great places to choose from. We won’t come back.

We fortunately found this delightful neighborhood restaurant during our travels. Our server, E, made the dinner experience even more enjoyable. She was very personable and engaging; she was also helpful re menu item choices, wanting our dinner to be just right. Our dinner, including stuffed eggplant, and roasted chicken were excellent. The salad was a bonus. Service was very good. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate with friendly staff. We hope to return! Also, they offer a good wine selection and full bar.

My wife and I met two of my cousins and their wives at Nicole's for dinner. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. We had not eaten there for a while, but after dinner, we asked ourselves what had taken us so long. Nicole's focuses on Italian dishes. Three of us ordered veal parmesan (delicious and take-some-home plentiful). Two ordered Hazelnut-crusted chicken, set off with a Frangelico sauce (again delicious and plentiful), and one ordered Penne a la Vodka with chicken, reported to the rest of us as being outstanding. Meal prices were average for a restaurant. All of us at dinner plan to return again in the near future.

We decided to try the restaurant as we were thinking of having them cater a wedding. I'm just gonna get to it here. 4 dishes all Bad. My short rib and paparadelle was full of fat and pasta was over cooked with a slight sour taste over all. My daughters crispy chicken with penne and gorgonzola was bland with no taste. The pasta was not creamy and the chicken had no seasoning. My husbands veal was tough and my soon to be son in law's ch. parm also had a bitter taste. Apps were good, calamari and meatball bread. Bread for table was dry and served with some kind of sweet butter. Not so good. Thank god we had this experience before dropping 18,000 yes 18,000 dollars. WOW. Can you imagine???!! I don't see what the rave is all about here. Not for us.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I took 12 employees out to celebrate the holiday season and see a show in Albany. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back when in the Albany area. (I may even have to make a special trip back just for this restaurant!)

We LOVED this place. We stumbled upon it because we were staying in the area and it had good reviews. The reviews are accurate. There was not a single thing we had that was not perfect. Butternut squash bisque, fried artichoke, hazelnut orange chicken, and the meatballs. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress but she was so kind and made a lot of good recommendations. Great service, great atmosphere.
