Come for the hard cider, food and drag shows, stay for the hard cider, food and drag shows. Love nine pin!!
Parking: There is parking but it’s not the best, depending on the time of day there is no parking, other times you just have to come back another day/time or wait for someone to leave. Needs improvement. Available parking is on street and a small lot of spaces on the side of the building, these aren’t the most accommodating for SUVs or large vehicles.
Kid-friendliness: This is a bar/tasting room, with food. Not a restaurant that happens to serve alcohol, people come here expecting not to be around kids, so leave kids with the sitter or go to Applebees.

I really adore Nine Pin! Their selection of ciders is fantastic. What truly sets it apart, however, is the experience of interacting with Gabe. He is so welcoming, and whenever I think of Nine Pin, he immediately comes to mind. As someone who recently moved to Albany, I truly appreciate his warm demeanor during my first visit; he made me feel right at home. It was one of the first places I explored in Albany, and Gabe's hospitality has ensured that I keep returning time and time again.

We've been waiting 45 minutes for food. One employee working on a holiday weekend is crazy - especially when people are coming in constantly for the 26er challenge. More people would order food if you had one person working food and one person pouring drinks.
Cider is amazing which is why we stopped on our way passing through Albany.

Love this place. Always delicious ciders, a periodically rotating food menu of small bites that could easily be a meal, free wifi, and plenty of seating. Amazingly friendly staff too.

Wow!! This was the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of gluten free pizza in my day. They make it in house and homemade. Go get yourself a pie!! #celiacsafe

Went here on lunch break, ordered 2 empanadas and apple goat cheese bruschetta. The cashier didn’t ask if it was “to-go” but I was by myself, didn’t order a drink and waited in the merchandise area… food was fairly quick.
When my buzzer went off, I went to the counter and my food was plated and not To-Go.
When I told him it was to go, he handed me to-go containers to pack it up myself while standing at the front counter.
I questioned the cheese cubes on one of my plates, and asked if that was supposed to be the bruschetta?
He said No, their mistake and he took the cheese plate back and brought the correct bruschetta order… for me to pack up myself.
I was surprised that the bruschetta was sliced apples instead of diced and that the goat cheese was spread instead of sprinkled it didn’t resemble bruschetta at all….I will say It was a tasty combination though.
Not having it prepped to go & getting the wrong food & having to package myself wasn’t the best experience for the price.
Cashiers were kind enough, but inexperienced.
Pictures are the apple & goat cheese bruschetta and of the chicken bacon ranch empanada.

This place is in a perfect spot for a peaceful fun or calm vibe. The host Courtney was very polite and helpful. I ordered the mini charcuterie board and a buffalo chicken and Mac and cheese empanada. For my drink I had 2 cosmos. (Hard cider) they were delicious, refreshing and they have a little kick if you know what I mean. lol. Very modern and lovely aesthetic. The art work in the restaurant is amazing. I love it definitely will be back!!

I love Nine Pin, and I hate having to write a bad review but, today it took 28 min to get a charcuterie board. Don't get me wrong the cheese was amazing but 28 min to get that.. Love you tho, I will come back but please improve that!!

Ample seating and they host a lot of cool events on the weekends. They have a good amount of ciders on tap. Foods great for bar food but a bit pricy imo

The ciders are great (obviously) and the drag show with Typhoid Mary and Portabella was incredible. What's a better combo than a delicious cider and a great drag show?
