NYX makes some pretty incredible bagels and really impressive baked goods.
I tried a half dozen of their handmade bagels, and think all were great, but I'm partial to the gochujang black sesame bagel. You don't see that every day and it was just outstanding.

Friendly customer service and a festive vibe for the holidays! I’ve visited twice now. On my first visit, there weren’t many options—just a few cupcakes and cookies. The lady explained she focuses mostly on custom orders. The cupcakes looked great, but the taste was average. The frosting was a bit firm, and the cake wasn’t as moist as I had hoped.
This time, I tried the raspberry tart. Unfortunately, it was too tart and sour for my liking, with large chunks of berries. The pecan bar was decent, though! The did have fuller selection this time but there were no cupcake, cakes, or donuts :(

Nyx bakery provides absolutely delicious baked goods for everyday, & made our wedding day desserts for us and everyone loved them :) We had cannoli cupcakes, raspberry tart, & more tasty goodies that our guests devoured! If you want home made baked treats made with real ingredients whether it’s for a special event or a random Thursday night, choose Nyx!!

Popped in here to grab a coffee and some pastries, and I was not disappointed! Their quiche is out of this world delicious, especially the ham and cheese one. Their chocolate chip cookies were great, too. The owners were friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. They decorated the place with a fun spookyblike vibe - I think they do that year round with old horror movie props, etc.
Wheelchair accessibility: Due to their location being slightly below street level, requiring the use of steps, I would not say that they are wheelchair accessible to my knowledge.

I pre-ordered quiche, bagels, and coffee cake for a party, and everything was out of this world! The food was so delicious, but those bagels—WOW—some of the best I've ever had! The whole process was so smooth. This will definitely be my new go-to spot for all things baked and yummy. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their treats.

This spot is so cool and horror movie themed. The staff was so sweet. Cold brew coffee was delicious and highly recommend the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Ours were still fresh and hot out of the oven. The quiche was also delicious. This is a must stop on a visit to lark street in Albany.
