Really great food, friendly service. I’m a Gringo married to a Mexican, and so far as I can tell, this place is legit very good!

Staff is so friendly and loving. Food is INSANE like insanely good. Come here if you want authentic Mexican food. Great music is played as well and the horchata is to die for. Our waitress was extremely nice and food service was quick. My go to Mexican food spot in Albany!

Loved Qaxaquena Triqui before when it was a bodega with a tiny dining area in the back. Was a sign of really great authentic food. The business has moved to new premises and the warm, inviting atmosphere remains, as well as (most importantly) the excellent, authentic Oaxacan food!! The staff were all exceedingly lovely and were happy to indulge my fledgling Spanish-language skills. It's a must try for anyone lucky enough to be in the area.

Vegetarian options: There's some veggie options mostly quesadillas; not an enormous amount on the menu but what's there is excellent. I am sure the staff would be happy to indulge in politely worded requests!

I would describe the place as a cute, semi hole in the wall. Very unassuming from the street, but much bigger inside than originally thought it would be. The place is very clean and cheery. Our waitress was great, very helpful, and ur food came out quickly. Speaking of the food, everything was delicious! Loved it all! We ordered one of each of three tacos. Lengua, Cecina, and Chapulines. They were all really good. liked the chapulines a lot, but my husband wasn't a huge fan because he doesn't love the smoky chipotle flavor. He preferred the lengua. And we both enjoyed the cecina. We also ordered one huitlacoche huarache, one carnitas sope, and one tinga tostada. Everything was delicious. They also brought two different sauces for us. The red sauce they gave us was a bit spicy and the green sauce was mild, both were very tasty. We would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Mexican!

The best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to! There are dishes here you can’t get anywhere else. Kind staff and a wonderful atmosphere. Pictured is half of one of their incredible oaxaca quesadillas with squash blossoms.

Tacos were $14. They charged me $18. The woman explained that they had new menus, and I had ordered off the old menu. THEY gave me the menu!. 3 tacos and guacamole for 1 cost $34.

Well... I went to this 'restaurant' on the basis of the many favorable reviews I read.

What my girlfriend and I found there was pretty awful.

The young (13? 14?) girl that waited on us in the bleak catastrophe that is this 'market/eatery' should certainly be in school instead of using an app on her phone to ask me if I want a bag to take home the 'food' they gave us.

The saddest part of this is that they have all of these accolades on the wall from local news sources... circa 2016 ish.. and this is what it is.
