I have only just started going to OH Bar, after hearing good things about it for many years.I cannot recommend a more safe environment for all types of people to have a few drinks, and a good time. The Bartenders are excellent and I look forward to going back!

Extremely overpriced!!!! The drinks were weak and very expensive! Sad that greedy owners push customers away. This was an amazing place year's ago. Sad

Safe place. You tell what you need and don't worry. It doesn't matter who you or the servers are. You are safe. This is the best spot I found for literally no questions asked, this is the, if you need something this is where you need, you go, I have ever found. The owners should be proud of the environment of safety that there is here

I came on Sat night. It was hopping after 1 AM. Mixed crowd. Bartenders were cool. Fun place. No popcorn is 4 stars haha.

Oh Bar has gone increasingly downhill over the years. I’m not sure at what point exactly it stopped being a gay bar but it’s not anymore. The owner from what I’ve heard and it’s obvious from how the business appears, doesn’t care about the Albany queer community at all. If anything they pander to it and appropriate the culture, without doing any real service to local Albany queer people. If you call yourself a gay bar it should feel like a safe space. I don’t feel safe or welcomed whenever I come here. The demographic is majority straight cisgender people now. They rarely have queer events and never host drag shows. The bartenders are often rude unless you’re a regular. How can you still call yourselves a gay bar when you no longer have any of the qualities of one? Aside from pride flags and rainbows which hang with no real action or accountability behind them. After hearing that a gay person was physically assaulted by the bouncer to the point they needed to be hospitalized, and the bouncer wasn’t fired, I will never be returning. And the bar surely will not be missed.

The only reason I ever come to OH bar is to see the most fabulous JOSH! He is by far the most attentive, courteous, kind bartender I have encountered! #joshisthebest

"Big Will" the bouncer said I needed to give him a hug before I went in. I am completely disgusted and I will not be returning to OH bar. Me and my girlfriend felt violated and my girlfriend said she doesn't feel comfortable hugging people in exchange for getting in a bar.

"Do you haff your PAPERS?" Sorry, but being asked questions about my health is something I expect from my mom, not a doormat infested with syphilis. Not participating in Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, not going to some no fun Karen bar, not showing my papers. It's a BAR not a hospital, not some old lady house with nonsensical health paranoia (oh wait, it seems to be!) Seriously, get over yourselves.

They are asking for vax card when it's not even a mandate. This is a racist policy. The bipoc community doesn't have the same access to heath resources and they are vaccinated at lower rates than the white community. This is a Jim Crow style bar!!
