Always a great place to hang with friends. Excellent wine and beer selection. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. With great food and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

One of the best meals I have ever had! I got the barbecue plate, which was classic southern cooking via the South of France. The skin on the chicken was somehow both perfectly crisp and sticky. Every side was a simple and fresh foil for the juicy bird. My boyfriend got the fried catfish nuggets, which were just as crispy-on-the-outside, meltingly-tender-on-the-inside as the catfish I ate as a child in Arksansas. And I won't even spoil the strawberries and ricotta for you -- just get it and be pleasantly surprised. The chef was also lovely and told me he has "the best line cooks in Albany" when I complimented his cooking. Based on the meal I just had, I'd say they're the best line cooks in the state!

Tasty and yummy food!! Loved the strawberry basil with whipped feta (plus bread!) and the summer plum salad. My only complaint is that the takeout menu is a bit limited! Covid Note: decent number of picnic tables outside, including some on Spring Street.

Ate the Fish and Chips. Beautiful dining area. Fish was well cooked and so were the chips. Only critique was the saltiness of the chips. There could have been a little less salt. Highly recommend.

I loved this place! When I first discovered it, it was closed due to the pandemic. I had been so excited to try once it finally re-opened and it did not disappoint one bit! The food was phenomenal, fresh, colorful and came out quickly. The wine was good and after our meal I got a few bottles to take home with me. The space is cute (not overly stylized/trendy) and cozy. The back patio is a decent size and airy. I can't wait to go back.

We had a great time! The only ones on the back patio for about an hour enjoying an IPA and a glass of Rose. We ordered the TED burger, baked Feta (comes with delicious bread), hummus, steak fries, and the greatest burnt potato chips in NY State. All were A+! Best to sit on the patio, a little dark inside.

Definitely recommend the Post. We had a great dinner and experience at this place. It’s small but very cute with back patio seating that’s decorated tastefully. More important; amazing food, the best that I’ve had in Albany. We tried the hummus and the strawberry appetizers which were very nice, followed by hamburger and smoked salmon salad. They were all delicious and with high quality ingredients that I really appreciate.

Great wine selection and beer program. Outdoor patio is very Brooklyn like

Such a fun place with a cute private patio! Went a few months ago and I love that their menu is small and changes by season. They include local ingredients and have a unique wine list. The food is creative and delicious. No dessert though!

Five stars for my most recent meal here, which was really amazing: the special crab fra diavolo pizza was one of the best things I've eaten in a restaurant in a while -- perfect combination of spice and savory funk -- and the blood orange fennel salad really nailed the sweet/savory/herbaceous/salty balance. There are just a couple of things that sometimes make me hesitate before coming here. One is how unpredictable it can be. Usually the food is delicious, but I've also ordered a couple of things that felt very off of the usual standard, and available items (RIP to that delicious bottled Italian soda, the fresh bread for sale, the Chewish chili oil, and pretty much the entire cocktail program) tend to appear and disappear like Brigadoon. That can be fun and exciting, but it also means that when you come here you have to be ready for a surprise, and sometimes I'm just not emotionally prepared to expect the unexpected when it comes to my dinner. My other petty grievance: everything is now served in disposable plates and boxes, so I always walk away from a meal feeling vaguely personally responsible for chopping down the rainforest. Maybe they'll consider letting customers bring in their own containers? If they do, I'll be first in line to have that delicious blood orange salad scooped directly into my Tupperware.

Food Was Interestingly Good! Catfish With Steak Fries.. With This Sweet Drizzle Was Amazing! But The Brown Sugar Smoked Bacan And Pineapple !!! The Best! Wine Was On Point Also!

Pōst is fantastic! My husband and I moved to Albany in February and were excited to try out the wine bar near our apartment. When we were finally able to dine in, we were not disappointed, because the everything is fantastic. We shared a pizza, the blood orange and fennel salad, and the mint & sweet pea pesto pasta - I wish I could speak to the other menu items as well, but we loved what we ordered so much that we've ordered the same things every time! To describe the food more specifically: the pan pizza has a deliciously fluffy crust and is insanely flavorful; this is the only pizza crust I've ever seen my husband eat! The ricotta pasta is delicious and tender, and the mint and sweet pea pesto is well- balanced and has a very fresh flavor. When you've got such awesome food, it's easy to ignore the salad on the table, but this one is as fresh, flavorful, and enticing as the other dishes. So glad we live close

Upon arrival no paper menu. Nothing on site requiring you to bring a device to get the menu. Front desk spacey! Sat in back to look up menu then came back in. Was asked if we needed a table. Obviously, the front staff paid no attention to us and didn't recognize we had just passed through. Pretty bad people skills since I have a cane and am pretty obvious to anyone. Expected fine dining but had to order at a counter. Wine list very sparse by glass. A very different experience from past businesses at same site. Food dropped off at table with very clear Covid packaged utencils and tiny napkin. Never touched back to see if we needed anything-like more napkins? Overall, very disappointing. Manager should check on attentiveness of front end staff. First impressions are important. It took away from the food experience which was pretty decent.
