I was there early, my first time in a restaurant by myself. I was greeted by several of the staff and felt welcomed immediately. I ordered linguini and clams in a white wine sauce and it was perfect. The linguini was al dente and the clams tasted fresh out of the ocean. The bread my server brought over was warm with a crisp crust, perfect for sopping up the sauce. The finale to this perfect meal was the dessert, a lemoncello parfait, perfection. I wish I could come here several...
The staff is absolutely awesome. Make sure to get a reservation as the place fills up fast. The place is nice but by the time we were nearing the end of our dinner, the place was packed and conversation was near impossible. They need to install a noise-absorbing ceiling or something to help minimize that.
Perfect neighborhood restaurant. A restrained vibe. Good wine list. The way it works is that there is a limited regular menu but then the wait staff tells you the specials which are plentiful and varied. Unfussy and quietly competent from the seating to the wine to the service. Just relax and order anything. It will all work.
