Went for lunch, just a quick bite. Walked in, place was more than half empty, so I asked the hostess/server for a booth, as she wanted me to take a tiny table and I had work to do. She sat me at a booth; I took off my jacket, put my papers down, ordered a coke..when she came back with th drink, she said her manager told her I had to move to a tiny table because booths are for two or more...there were at least four empty booths at the time, and no one waiting to be seated. Manager absolutely refused to allow me to sit at the booth, so I left...never to return. nasty staff makes for non-customers!
Have had my eye on pearl st diner for a minute now and finally got to try it. I really enjoyed their egg sandwich with sausage on a hard roll and coffee. My partner went for their gyro special, which actually surprised me with how good it was. Solid diner experience, and the food came out super quick!

I had such a wonderful time here. My first time! Came here to celebrate a graduation. Such a great decision. The staff was amazing and everything tasted great! I highly recommend.
Great food and service
Called ahead to make sure they could seat us. Came in with over 20 people. We were sat down immediately, all got drinks quickly, and were all fed rapidly as well. Typical diner food. Good portions, good prices. A quick, downhill walk from the Capitol building, worth a visit!
Easily accomodated our 15 person party with good food and kind grace.
Good food, reasonable prices
Awesome food love the service waitress every thing I love it
Got here at 7:10 AM and it was closed. Please fix your hours if you are not open at 7 AM.
Ordered lunch special, waited at the counter while I was repeatedly told it was ready, for 30 minutes, until my lunch break was over. I left with the owner yelling that I owed him money.

Didn't seem like Google maps had many downtown breakfast spots in downtown Albany at all. We stumbled upon this place and really liked it. Super friendly staff, neat ambiance, good food.

11am. Tried to get service. Restaurant with plenty space. Just wanted to get a fast breakfast and charge my phone. They didn’t allowed me to sit in their chairs. Offered me an uncomfortable chair and didn’t wanted to let me sit down in one of their 7 empty comfortable tables. Maybe great foot, but poor management and intelligence to make sure clients are happy.
What kind of diner does not have skim milk???
