I get their lemongrass tofu bahn mi, delicious (even if the lemongrass smells like cleaning fluid to me haha). As an Italian-American, I also appreciate the use of ciabatta bread for it. I'm also not a fan of the desserts, but maybe that's just me.
A modest little Vietnamese restaurant with an extensive menu and very tasty offerings, Pho Yum is tucked into the corner of an anonymous strip mall on a busy 4 lanes highway. The automated tablet based menu, plastic utensils and paper table ware may be off-putting, but the charming help, the rich Pho soups and interesting selection of spring, summer and autumn rolls are definitely worth the visit.
Stopped by while getting my oil changed at Monroe next door. Girl at the register was super nice, owner was also there helping and she was super nice too. First time trying banh mi and was pleasantly surprised! Really good option for a quick take out sandwich. Enjoyed this little place and will return.
