Just came from Ruth Chris in Albany. What a let down! The filet was great but over cooked and the strip steak was so tough I had to get a sharper steak knife. Both steaks were ordered med rare and were more like med well. The meat was a disappointment, but the ultimate was two family's had toddlers that were crying and screaming for over an hour. When i tried to have staff speak to the couples about their children nothing happened.
Very disappointed, will not go back. Prime is so much better.

My Husband & I had the perfect night at this location! Our waiter was Leon he was amazing, we loved his personality and the way he talked to us! You never see many waiters like that anymore nowadays! If this resturant could be in my day to day budget id go every week! This place is a must go!!

How is it your number one job is to cook steaks and you don't get it remotely close???
We attended for a birthday and only received 1 round of drinks when we 1st sat and not another drink until dinner arrived. I actually had to get up and asked if we could all get another round of drinks for the table?
How does a steahouse get the steaks wrong, I am not talking a little it was well done. I am a person who likes to eat with the people I came with, not by myself, so I just moved on to desert. When I mentioned it to the manager, he acknowledged that he knew, though at no time did anyone come to the table to address it. Can't say that I would ever return to Ruth Chris.

The food was excellent ( although expensive even for a steakbouse). The waiter was rude! Very abrupt like he didn't want to be there. Had to ask him 3 times for a drink, and he said 'oh you want it now ? Gave us the check almost $600 for 4 of us, and never asked if we wanted coffee or anything else.when I told him he didn't ask us, he YELLED' I didn't ask you if you wanted coffee?' Everyone in our party was taken aback by his attitude. It is a shame to be treated like this when spending so much.

Bone-in NY Strip cooked perfectly as requested. Not the most tender cut but packed with flavour. I paired a Cremini Mushroom side and it added the 'mushroom gravy' that goes so well with steak.
Service was great. We had a great time at Ruth's. I will be sure to visit again the next time pass by Albany.

We had a family birthday celebration! It was our first time there. There wasn't a thing for improvement. Delicious dinner, wonderful service and we definitely will be going back! Try the seafood tower. Yummy!
