I ordered my steak medium well, when it came out it was more like rare. The waiter took it back and about 10 minutes later my husband was already eating, the steak came back overcooked. I didn't send it back I just ate it. Just seemed for the price it should have been better or at least offered a dessert.

Another great meal at our new favorite steak house in/around Albany! We went to celebrate a birthday and were greeted with a cute Happy Birthday message on the menu and a free dessert (totally unexpected but greatly appreciated!). The service was excellent and matched the food. Split the tomahawk with a friend this time around and it was great, only wish it came with a side of potatoes or something like that, seems like it would considering the price. But aside from that we had a wonderful time. The art on the walls highlights local attractions and helps the place feel less like a giant chain restaurant and more like a local joint, nice touch! The bar area is also not to be missed, we started out night there with a cocktail that was well crafted and a reasonable price. Overall, it was a great night, we will be back!

Our table was in a room that was very cold. The waitstaff indicated that the room is often cold. They did adjust the temperature but the silverware was still ice cold. Hard to enjoy a meal when you have to put your coat on!

I have been to at least 6 Ruth's locations, and visit Ruth's on average every other month. My husband and I love eating out, but Ruth's is always our special treat to ourselves because at Ruth's we KNOW we will have an amazing food, beverage, and service experience. Yes, the price point is slightly higher than many other full-service restaurants and the economy sucks right now, but I will always keep Ruth's as a line item in my family budget to ensure we can go regularly. Their steaks are unparalleled, but candidly, I am there for the sides and add-ons just as much. The creamed spinach is just ridiculously good, as are the potatoes au gratin. If you're not doing an add-on to your steak of the blue cheese crust or Oscar style, you're doing it wrong.
