Not to nice to there customers…

I've gone to Sheba for a long time and have witnessed a lot of changes, but I'm surprised that the management doesn't care about maintaining good customer relations or providing customer service—instead, they sling insulting remarks in your direction.

Amazing food, in an unfortunately dark, unheated, somewhat cluttered space. But the food! We had to put on our heavy jackets to survive until the tea arrived. But we’d come back for the food!

Was really excited to order from this place and reading the good reviews was expecting to order a couple of more times from here. Have had Yemeni food in Minnesota, but the lamb and chicken dish I got were absolutely tasteless. Had it been my first time having Yemeni food I would have just classified it as ok, would have most likely tried it again. However, knowing that it should be so much tastier, one time and never ordering from here again.

I’ve had better Yemeni food before this one. You will NEVER forget the taste of a good Yemeni dish. This one is okay but easily forgettable!

My first time trying Yemeni Food as a Pakistani and I really enjoyed their food. The food taste amazing, the service was great as well. This isn’t a place I’ll bring my family to dine in, the customers are just crazy looking. I did take out and the portions became small. While Dine in the has big portions, take out does not.Definitely would come here for food again, the food tasted amazing.

Need to leave a review so people don't make the same mistake. I ordered this over doordash and there multiple issues with this place. 1st issue, they took a very long time to prep my order (an entire hour). 2nd issue, when it was delivered they only fulfilled half the order. I ordered 1 lamb kabsa and 1 chicken kabsa. I thank God that they only fulfilled one. 3rd and MAIN ISSUE, I finished the entire meal and immediately began to have stomach issues. This eventually evolved into food poisoning which kept me on the toilet for 18 out of 36 hours. As of day 4, symptoms have reduced but still dealing with it. There were times where I genuinely felt I should've gone to a doctor. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Food used to be much better. Service is not so good. There was a young boy taking orders and kept forgetting about our requests. Tables are not so clean and so the back room inside the kitchen area. Has potential but poor management ruining it.

Good place with big portions for good value. No frills setting but delicious flavors. Close to the Linda and other Central Ave delights.

Delicious food. You will not leave this restaurant hungry. Yemeni food synthesizes the best food from the Indian Ocean , heavily influenced by gulf, desi, and East African cuisine. Interestingly, this is a straight up working class dive. The customer base comes from the newly arrived Yemeni community; you will notice lots of men coming in for sweet tea, a quick chat or a platter in between jobs. This may explain the lowbrow aesthetics and spotty service (usually only one person handling orders and service, speaks good English) Takeout if this is a turnoff, but I would highly recommend the authentic ambiance of a true Indian Ocean cafe in the most vibrant section of Albany. Plus, the food is better fresh and you will never feel unwelcome at an Arab joint. Maybe confused, but not unwelcome!

Order delivery for lamb gallabah and charcoal grilled chicken platter. Lamb gallabah was missing bread, the meat was undercooked. Chicken was overdone and dry. Overall, I can't recommend.
