I love raw fish, but it seems if not every other time I’ve given this place a try their fish is always fishy and doesn’t seem fresh. Today I got an order of the salmon nigiri and I couldn’t even swallow the bite because of how fishy this salmon was. Salmon should never be fishy. Fish is too expensive not to have it fresh as possible for your customers. I will not be giving this place another try. 5 strikes and you’re out.

I specifically called the store after mistakenly ordering my food too fast (I forgot the sauce). I called and asked if they could put it in the order, which the server who had an attitude said okay but an additional charge. I agreed. A hour or so later my food comes and no sauce. The food looks and tastes so bland, so nasty.. I called and said how the food was and how there was no sauce and they just didn’t care lol. Maybe it’s not that serious, but service and food 2/10.

This sushi place is a must visit for an amazing sushi in the area. The quality is truly impressive and it was definitely one of the best sushi experiences I've had in a while. The service was attentive but the staff could improve on their friendliness and welcoming demeanor to make customers feel more at ease.

Looking for a weekday birthday lunch in Albany we luckily stumbled on Shogun, and were delighted. The Scallion Pancakes were light and packed with flavor as well as a tasty dipping sauce. The sushi was very fresh and their larger rolls had lovely combinations of flavors.will return for sure

I order online using Doordash. The food tasted great, delicious pork katsu. There was a mixed with the sushi I ordered and the sushi that arrived but they very quickly acknowledged the mix up and sent the sushi I order. I really appreciate the quick turnaround/great service. Again the food itself was delicious, definitely recommend!
