I've been getting a hot chocolate pretty regular for a few weeks now, everything was great until today. The hot chocolate felt light, the whipped cream settled and before i took a drink it was 1/2 full. I returned and my drink was remade ( I was polite in the exchange in case anyone thinks they messed with my drink because i was rude) unfortunately it was luke warm on the second attempt. 3 stars due to inconsistency, im not looking to have any issues when I order a drink.

the sausage egg and cheese was honestly really good but a bit over priced. on the other hand the latte tasted like an under extracted roast was expecting better honestly.

I have dined in Stacks on numerous occasions and I regularly get take out. This is one of my three go to coffee shops in Albany NY. I enjoy the Chai lattes, seasonal soups, sandwiches, and croissants. The only thing they need is Hazelnut syrup for the drinks!

Jacob Alejandro’s is just around the corner from the lark street location and is on a separate level.
Stacks is… underwhelming to say the least.
For the love of coffee, switch to Oatly for your oat milk.

This has been my favorite coffee shop in Albany for a while (favorite local chain), but the past few times i’ve been in it’s been a 10+ minute wait even to order. I like to pop in on my way to the train station, which has just become unfeasible.
We’re from out of town and needed 2 drinks to get our day started. We ordered two drinks and they mixed the milk types between the two. We had to ask twice + wait 15 minutes for them to remake 1 latte.
Bagel sandwich was pretty good but they seem to not be able to handle a lot of people at one time.
