I was in town for a trade show and needed to find some good coffee nearby that wasn't Starbucks. Stacks checked all the boxes: good coffee, GREAT breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff. I would highly recommend!

Stopped in before and liked their coffee. Considering that the other small coffee shop that I was a loyal customer to (since the shutdown) had closed, I figured I'd give Stacks another shot. Had a coffee and a bagel egg sandwich (Greg) and was more than satisfied. Definitely found my new spot for a coffee and egg sandwich. They're open on Saturday, which is a definite plus. I'll be frequenting them more.

The iced vanilla latte was very average. A little bit too sweet for my liking as well. However, the service was great and so was the atmosphere! Very bright inside with plenty of seating. I love the bar top to sit at along the windows, so you can watch traffic while relaxing with your cup of joe!

I've been on working on North Pearl for more than 10 years. Today a coworker was having a "Gryphon." I asked here where she bought it and she said, "Stacks." I had never heard of the espresso bar, but I have seen it. It is a very clean, lovely place. Staff is friendly and the sandwich was DELICIOUS!
It was the best coffee I had in Albany downtown, better than Dunkin’s shop in downtown, had cappuccino coffee and grilled cheese and soup for lunch was amazing… very reasonable
I am very disappointed with the cappuccino as the milk was oversteamed.

Good coffee, but service was poor. Food took a while, was good but small, however my latte took even longer. They told me my soup lacked vegetables despite being vegetable soup but offered no discount or extra for the recognized delays and lack of quality. Sorry guys, but some things just have to improve.
