“Another great meal at our new favorite steak house in/around Albany! We went to celebrate a birthday and were greeted with a cute Happy Birthday message on the menu and a free dessert (totally unexpected but greatly appreciated!). The service was excellent and matched the food. Split the tomahawk with a friend this time around and it was great, only wish it came with a side of potatoes or something like that, seems like it would considering the price. But aside from that we had a wonderful time. The art on the walls highlights local attractions and helps the place feel less like a giant chain restaurant and more like a local joint, nice touch! The bar area is also not to be missed, we started out night there with a cocktail that was well crafted and a reasonable price. Overall, it was a great night, we will be back!“

“Wait staff was excellent. Both steaks had to be taken back because they were raw, we asked for medium. when they returned with the steaks they were still not medium but we ate them anyways. The sides were 12 to 15 dollars a piece for about two scoops of food. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it came right out of the box and just had cheese sprinkled on it. There really was no flavor to the steaks. I did get the bernaise sauce which had a flavor of honey mustard, terrible. Fancy place but no quality with food. It took over an hour to get our food and we were there when it opened. We always went to the Barnsider and we wanted to try something new. I would have rather eaten at the Barnsider anyday over this.“

“If you want a masterclass in customer service, ask for Leighann. It is clear she could work at any restaurant she chooses and probably make more money. I hope management acknowledges the value she brings to this establishment.
As far as the food, for the price point, you wont get a better steak dinner. Food was ready very quickly as well. My wife and I will definitely be returning soon!“

“We had a 70th Birthday there and it was so amazing. The food is exceptional, the waiters are always there to assist, serve, the our waitress, Jessica, was the sweetest lady. She took all the orders, she waited through confusion. she repeated the menus, she was there popping in to see if we needed anything the entire time. Our guests all commented on the exceptional food and service. They deserve 10 stars!!! Highly recommend everyone go, just for the unique experience! The food alone is beyond deliciously, out of this world, good! Thank you Texas de Brazil staff and chefs. Thank you Jessica and Daniel!“

“My friend Michele and I decided to go to the Barnsider earlier this evening because we were in the area visiting her parents grave. I ordered the 10oz scallops and Michele ordered the 10oz steak, both were absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful! We were both about half to three quarters into eating our dinners. Suddenly I noticed a concerned look on Michele's face and asked her if she was alright. When she struggled to answer me, I knew she was in trouble and quickly got up from my chair and helped her up and got behind her to administer the Himelick maneuver that I've never tried or had any training for. After a couple of attempt's, I panicked and turned to find help at the nearby check-in desk and asked if anyone knew how to do the Himelick maneuver to save my good friend Michele and for a few moments it was obvious that no one knew, that is until an employee came back from seating some customers and witnessed what was going on and immediately got behind Michele and may have saved her life in a matter of seconds. I regret I did not get her name, but I think she may have been the person in charge this night at that position from what I could tell because our table was very close to the desk. Michele and I can't thank her enough for heroic response to save the life of someone in an emergency situation! By the way, she mentioned she took an EMT class 10 years ago but has never had to use her training in any situations. Now she has, and thank God or maybe...thank one or both of Michele's parents that we just visited at the cemetery just prior to going to the Barnsider for dinner, and maybe, they made sure there was an Angel working that would protect their daughter. Thank You again from the bottom of our hearts!!“

“We give Outback 1/5 Stars chad was a good server we didn't order the blooming fries but got them anyway we got the completely wrong order we were VERRY sad about the poor minion that got filet, he was good tasting the. The ungin sope looked like it has lots of cheese but is a scam because it is ontop of a piece of bread The ribs were horrible, did not come off the bone, no red, and no juice I was not satisfied about the cholclate thunder down from under, it was not poop as I was expecting R.I.P for the minion, very cruel.“
