This place is amazing. The fried mushrooms are unreal. I get them every time I order. The Crunchwrap is great along with the chopped cheddar. You can get the breakfast burrito as a Crunchwrap as well. The space is very nice and cozy, the staff are all incredibly nice and helpful.

I stopped in quickly for my first time and I had the best BLT sandwich ever!! Also, I asked if they had avocado to put on the sandwich and they didn’t so I asked if I gave him one if he would put it on and he did. Very accommodating. Thank you for my delicious and very filling sandwich. :)

I was blown away by the quality of the Mac and cheese. It was so gooey and packed with flavor, I almost forgot that it was vegan friendly. My go-to has always been the Buffalo Crunchwrap, but my goal is to eventually try everything on their very versatile menu. The staff is friendly, and whoever runs the social media account is doing a great job as well! Vegetarian or not, subculture does not disappoint when it comes to their food.

OMG!! since we became vegans about 32 years ago-we have pretty much given up on ever being able to enjoy the classic tastes of "comfort sandwiches" until now! This place really knows its way around hearty, great tasting food and creates super fun and generous sandwiches which are so hard to find in the vegan culinary world! We have so far tried the Reuben which is fantastic (It reminds me of when we used to go to Canters Deli in the 80s in Los Angeles late night after clubs) the Italian Sub which is a master re-creation and reminded my hubby of his Philadelphia Italian Hoagie roots! We also get the totally delicious jackfruit tuna sandwich which is super fresh tasting and you don't have to have the gross fish taste of real tuna!! YAY! All these sandwiches and their creatively blended flavors are so much better than their meaty counter parts! We also really love the fries!!! This place is a total gem and I'm so happy to get to eat here every couple weeks when we come into town! thank you, Subculture!!

Update: i became sick after eating the sandwich from here, vomiting, liquid bowel movements for days. They absolutely do not care about poisoning people. If you have ceiliac disease, do not eat hereI came in and asked them what their gluten-free options were. They asked me if I had an allergy or not. I said I had a severe allergy due to having ceiliac disease. They informed me that they shared a fryer with gluten items for the gluten-free items so I asked them what items I could order that were not in the fryer. It’s limited to a few sandwiches that they said came with a free bag of chips and pickle but when I got my order home they had charged me an extra $2 and gave me fried French fries, so I had to walk back and explain to them that I could not eat the French fries and I requested that I be able to have the chips and pickle instead as I ordered. they then decided to refund my money by handing me the full cost in cash, and then taking it back again, and then giving me $2 to refund for the fries and asked me if i still wanted chips which i said yes i would like the chips and pickle as i ordered, gave me chips but no pickle, I asked if I could have a pickle and then they told me again that they thought that I wanted fries and I told them I couldn’t have fries because I have ceiliac disease and asked them (3 workers) if I could please have a pickle and they just kept telling me that they thought I wanted fries et cetera and so I left basically I really hope I don’t get sick from eating the sandwich because they seem to have no idea what gluten-free means and it’s also kind of weird to give someone a refund for their sandwich and then take back the refund and then refused to give them what they actually ordered so needless to say this is my first time coming to the shop and my last time coming to this shop. If you have ceiliac disease or are gluten-free avoid this shop also don’t be an idiot and give them extra cash tips for service that is absolutely subpar (pun intended)

I’ve been coming here for years. I look forward to the different specials that they offer. Their wings and wing burger are top notch. I’m also a huge fan of the Jackfruit tuna as a wrap! They often have great dessert options too. Their mascot is a cool dog that looks like a burrito.
