We love the ambience in restaurant. The food were authentic and phenomenal. Don’t miss fried calamari as your appetizer, crunchy and tender inside. We will be back for sure because all the staff are friendly and great services.

The best Thai food in the capital region! Basil chicken and pumpkin curry with chicken are my favorites. Always fresh, thoughtfully prepared food. Great options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free too. Excellent, friendly service! Highly recommended!

This place is the best Thai food I’ve had in the Capital District. Authentic dishes with excellent service. Would love to come again. My favorite dishes were the summer roll with tofu and Spicy Basil Fried Rice!

The cocktails looked and tasted like they were right out of NYC, not to mention the pork belly hit the spot

We had the most unforgettable Thai meal today. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a luxury resort in Thailand — spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of tropical charm.
We ordered the Crab Meat Fried Rice and Basil Duck. Every bite blew us away. The fried rice was fragrant, light, and packed with real crab meat. The duck — crispy and perfectly cooked — was served on a bed of stir-fried green beans with basil sauce, so tasty that you can finish several bowls of rice with it!
What truly stood out was the incredible attention to detail — both in presentation and in flavor.! tasete You can feel the care they put into every dish.
And special thanks to Patrick, our warm and thoughtful server, who made the whole experience feel like dining with a friend. This place is a hidden gem — we’re so lucky to have found it!

Stopped in on a Sunday. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, though the service is not fast. It can take a while to be seated, to get water, and to get your meals. Each person's meal arrived with almost a 10 minute interval in-between. The food was very flavorful, but it is not southern Thai heat levels. The Chicken Satay was great, the peanut sauce was good too, it is a little thicker than some other restaurants. I ordered the Garlic Pepper with Salmon at a 4 out of 5 heat level, and compared to other Thai restaurants in the area, it was a 1 maybe a 2. It tasted very good, it just wasn't very spicy. The Drunken Noodles were very good as well, but also not very spicy. So, again, the food is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful, but the service wasn't very fast when I went, and the food isn't all that spicy. But that's ok if you're not in a big rush and you don't want your food to be too spicy.

We ordered takeout. I'm a Thai food addict and the Mussaman curry was among the best I've had.

My husband and I went for a date night and the food was delicious. For apps we split the dumplings and crab rangoon, both were super fresh and some of the best we have tried. He got the pineapple fried rice which was presented beautifully and I enjoyed the red spicy curry with shrimp. Overall a good experience.

Food was quick but that’s where the good ended. For appetizers, the dumplings were mushy and lacked flavor, the crab rangoon was fine and tasted like any other one I’ve had.
For entrees, the chicken I ordered was not butchered properly and was filled with cartilage. I ordered medium spice and there was not a single hint of spice in the dish. To top it off, the broccoli was raw (this was just one dish).

Wonderful Thai food with some unique menu items in an upscale relaxing atmosphere. Tried Suwun for the first time and glad we did. Hard not to think we were army the Ginger Man, but they have done a very nice job with renovations.
The menu had something for everyone with lots of appetizers and mains. The three of us shared summer rolls made either with tofu or shrimp. Served with a nice peanut based dipping sauce. Although we did not try it a coconut mojito went by and looked amazing!
The choice of entrees was difficult given the extensive menu. I felt like noodles and though I’m not sure that udon noodles are Thai, I had the udon noodles with shrimp. On most of the dishes you can choose your protein, priced accordingly. One companion had one of the “wok” dishes, eggplant with chicken. The eggplant was violet in color and cooked perfectly. Our other companion had fried rice with tofu, that unfortunately came with egg given that he is vegan. Able to eat around it. Servers had a bit of trouble refilling soda and water but not a big deal.
We shared a dessert, mango with sticky rice, basically a whole mango, sliced with a delicious block of sweetened coconut rice. Perfect to share.
Will be back and already have recommended it.

Very fresh with lip smacking flavors. There’s run-of-the-mill Thai food that is perfectly good but Suwun is the highest quality and thoughtful Thai culinary experience I’ve had in the Capital Region.
The table got two very different cocktails that were balanced and fair with the alcohol volumes. Both paired well with the appetizers
Hard to only choose two appetizers from the menu… I will be returning to try more. Terrific!
Ordered two entrees, mango salad with salmon and eggplant with bbq chicken from the wok. Pure gastronomical pleasure!
Highly recommend. I’m telling all my friends to go.
