Met some friends tonight (Tuesday night) here for dinner. They had never been before and we hadn’t seen each other in quite some time. We were all unaware of the reason so many people were there on a weeknight and parking was so tough but we’re excited to visit and just rolled with it.
No, we didn’t look online. I recommended the great food and atmosphere and my husband and I used to go and hadn’t been in a while. Our friends really really liked the atmosphere and were very happy with their food choices. The waitress asked if we wanted dessert and none of us did. We sat visiting maybe 10 minutes and that’s being generous and a lady came over and said “we have Trivia night we need this table now!” I bust out laughing and said “oh, then take it!” How incredibly RUDE. My friend did tell her she was shocked at how rude she just was and the young lady dismissed her.
Two things could have changed this outcome:
1) Tell the guests that ask to be seated outside that it is Trivia night and if we don’t plan on partaking if we mind eating inside OR
2) Tell the guests and explain to them they’d need to make sure they were completed before the start of the trivia as the tables will be needed.
Neither was done. However what was successfully done was you just lost 4 customers who live within a 20 minute radius sharing this experience who have lived here long enough to share the experience with many others. Shame on you young lady. My hope is this post gets back to you and you learn customer service and proper communication skills!! -Delmar Swifty’s to the young lady with the pony tail dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans.

Stopped by on a Thursday after an appointment. Had their club with onion rings. First time eating here and it won't be the last. Plenty of food, excellent waitress, and a nice quiet meal. Best onion rings i have ever had. Will stop by on a regular basis. ?????

Waitress Quay and hostess were very attentive and good. I ordered the onion soup and it was very salty. Reuben Swifty’s style was greasy. Took a piece of Guinness cake to go. Hope it doesn’t disappoint

It was our first visit to Swifty's, as we were from out of town. I loved my meal, but my sister's was so, so. The menu offered a vast amount of choices, which is why we came in the first place. The tables and wooden bench seats felt kind of greasy and desperately needed a good scrub down. I understand it's a pub atmosphere, but that doesn't excuse cleanliness especially in today's day and age. The place is huge and I liked the fact we were able to sit away from the bar area. The service was top notch and our waitress was more than accommodating. I would return for the steak salad, but my sister wouldn't be ordering the Reuben again.

Kaylee (spelling) was an excellent server. Very quick, polite and all around sweet. Food portions are huge and well worth the money. Food was exceptional, the onion soup is to die for and the shephards pie was saucy and delicious. Didn't even think to take pics because I was too busy eating. Perfect experience.
