The food is frozen premade food from the supermarket that they microwave instead of cooking, and the service is awful. 90 minute wait just for appetizers that turned out to be store bought

Simply the best Thai restaurant in upstate New York! Love their crispy calamari! And their Pad See Eew is amazing, and their customer service is very lovely. Considering I’m Thai, this place is one of the most authentic Thai restaurants I have had here in America. Please come and support this lovely restaurant! Will definitely visit again, having been going every month since I moved here for work in upstate New York. 11/10!

Very spicy, they could have replaced the dish but wouldn't take it back. I can handle spice, most likely an inexperienced cook, the spice was so high that it could have triggered a heart attack for someone else. On top of it they added a .50c for spice.

Ordered for delivery every vegan dish on offer, none of them were very good. The best by far was the curry, but it still was lacking flavor and toppings (tofu would’ve been great). The sweet and sour, teriyaki, and kung pao “beef” were pretty much the same sauces (the kung pao having a weird, kind of tangy, gross flavor that set it apart and I can’t identify). The ramen was okay but tasted too much of plain soy sauce. The coconut soup was pretty simple, which can be nice as a comfort dish, but was honestly a bit too simple for someone who enjoys bold flavor. The udon noodles I can only just describe as okay. We were hoping to try the gyoza and salad by ordering the teriyaki lunch special, but instead got the teriyaki dish (which tastes just like the sweet and sour) and received an up charge. If a restaurant isn’t serving a dish that they list, they need to reach out and ask what we’d like to do or just remove it from the order entirely. Don’t just add a charge. We were pleasantly surprised that the “Thai hot” was actually kind of spicy, but with an up charge to get it, I was hoping the spice level would be significant. Dishes that we didn’t order “Thai hot” were not at all spicy (to me at least, still be cautious of course if you have a low spice tolerance). Lastly, since we had literally just moved here from across the country and didn’t come with silverware, we added plasticware to our order and didn’t get it. That was kind of a bummer, not gonna lie. Everything was edible, served hot, and some dishes were better than others, but this whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth — much like the kung pao. 3/10.

TapAsia Asian Tapas: Albany's Must-Try Hidden Gem!
Get ready, Albany! TapAsia Asian Tapas at 227 Lark St is a true hidden culinary treasure. The moment you walk in, the exceptional service and incredible comfort food create an unforgettable experience. Every authentic flavor bursts with perfection – “every bite tells the story!”
We started with the Gyoza, fried to perfection with a perfectly balanced soy-vinegar dipping sauce – pure deliciousness. For the main course, the PAD KRA PROW (THAI BASIL SAUCE) with extra chicken and medium spice was phenomenal. Be warned: medium is spicy, but the flavors were immaculate! Crispy veggies, al dente noodles, and succulent chicken all soaked in that incredible sauce, served with fluffy sticky rice. It’s perfect for any meal!
The service was truly outstanding – kind, fast, and incredibly attentive.

The TapAsia fried rice with mixed vegetables ($14 plus tax) and the pumpkin curry with chicken were decent. But it’s a hard pass for the tough, leathery pork bun and the densely-breaded karaage.

Amazing food and the family that owns the place is so kind! This is my favorite place in Albany.

Awesome authentic Thai restaurant!!! This is an excellent place to bring a date or a friend. The mango sticky rice is an excellent dessert to top everything off. Casual atmosphere and amazing service….5 stars!!!

Get the soft shell crab bun. Mouthwateringly good. There was also a cozy vibe inside. With the crab and pad thai, it was $28.

The food feels very elegant, and at a perfect price point. It was DELICIOUS. the flavors are awesome and complex. It's plated beautifully as well. Highly recommend.

Delicious and fresh, nice atmosphere, varied menu with good vegetarian options, My only complaint was that service was slow and we had indicated we were trying to make a movie. But service was friendly, and kept our water glasses topped off, which was good - my food was spicy (the way I ordered it)
