Today I was at the Wolf Road location on my lunch. Unfortunately when I sat down I set my drink down on the edge of my try and it spilled everywhere! I went to the counter and asked for a towel to clean up my mess. The gentleman working the register told me he’d take care of it. He came over with a towel and smile then clean up the mess I had made. He even refilled my soda which he had no obligation to do. Sorry I didn’t grab his name but he had a red hat on and curly hair in the back. I’m sure you have people making constant messes that needed attending to but you wouldn’t have known by your reaction to my blunder. I’m in a profession where service is a primary focus and this is what great service looks like. Thank you again for your help today!

The new Teds Fish Fry in Ballston Spa is great! Orders were moving fast and it was organized, staff was calm, cool, collected and food tasted great! The manager was taking orders 5-6 people deep in line, as long as he could hear them I think. He even went out and wiped tables and picked up trays to bring back to the kitchen. So refreshing to see managers supporting staff.
I can't wait to go back!!

When are we going to get a decent fish and chips shop in the capital district? I've eaten Ted's since I was a kid. The only competition was Gallagher's, whose fish I preferred. And then I ate real English f&c and realized there was a deficit where I lived.

I have been going to Ted's for a very long time. The day are very friendly and the service. The food is excellent no complaints. And they do not charge for sauces.

First visit ever, we had been wanting to go to a Teds Fish Fry for a while, so we were in the area and decided to stop, the staff was to busy talking to to focus on the customer, the place was not very clean, got our dinner and never got utensils, had to go back and ask, wasn't asked if we wanted anything to drink with our meal, other than all of that the Fish was very good,

This place has been a staple. But the last several times regardless of time of day have just been strong misses. Something happened and they’re starting to lose the Teds charm.
If you’re going to charge extra for honey mustard, put it in the bag. If you’re going to have someone at the register, don’t have them have the bedside manner of a rattlesnake and make sure they know not to charge extra for a drink that comes with a special. If someone doesn’t want to work there they shouldn’t. What usually is a well oiled machine has started to rust. I’ve spent enough on extras the last couple months to get multiple lunch specials, only for the number of times for the order to have those extras be single digits. I may have to look elsewhere, sadly.
