Best fish fry in the Albany area. Always fresh and done correctly

Ordered a fish fry through Mealeo that was $9.00 plus tax when usually it’s $7.75 at every other Ted’s fish fry location. I asked for a fountain drink or etc for the difference that was overcharged and management didn’t offer any solution to the problem. The person I talked to, that claimed they were the manager on shift, noted that they expected price changes to their menu soon but was not sure that it happened as yet but still assured me they had no solution or idea to why the price is different than what’s in store. It’s misleading to any customer spending money with a business & dishonest. It’s not about the amount it’s about the principle of trusting the restaurant cooking the food. If you don’t mind being scammed out of your money then shop here.

The Ted's here on Western avenue is a little different than all the other ones as it has a beer bar. The food is typical and great fish fries I always enjoy going to Ted's.

Today I was at the Wolf Road location on my lunch. Unfortunately when I sat down I set my drink down on the edge of my try and it spilled everywhere! I went to the counter and asked for a towel to clean up my mess. The gentleman working the register told me he’d take care of it. He came over with a towel and smile then clean up the mess I had made. He even refilled my soda which he had no obligation to do. Sorry I didn’t grab his name but he had a red hat on and curly hair in the back. I’m sure you have people making constant messes that needed attending to but you wouldn’t have known by your reaction to my blunder. I’m in a profession where service is a primary focus and this is what great service looks like. Thank you again for your help today!

Excellent fish and mini hot dogs with the works! 100 percent recommend! New Ballston Spa location is great.
Always great food. Usually very fast.. place looks very clean and well run no concerns. Kitchen area wide open so you can see your food being prepared.

The new Teds Fish Fry in Ballston Spa is great! Orders were moving fast and it was organized, staff was calm, cool, collected and food tasted great! The manager was taking orders 5-6 people deep in line, as long as he could hear them I think. He even went out and wiped tables and picked up trays to bring back to the kitchen. So refreshing to see managers supporting staff.
I can't wait to go back!!

Great atmosphere...fish frys and onion rings as well...prices little steep though..other than prices, it's a great place to eat. Updated review on service ,a bald man today 11-2-2025 not nice and I go here every week receipt says his name is Devine not sure if that is the bald man's name but he's not friendly no manners at all. And not sure if ill go back to this location because of this today..other than that food is great..he's seems moody and he isn't friendly or respectful at all..
