My husband and I got married at a private residence on October 4, 2025. From initial communications with Betsy and finalizing all the details, right down to the team who took care of us on our big day, we couldn’t be happier that we chose them. They made our day so special and the food was delicious. Our guests were all very impressed! We chose the beef tips in a port wine sauce, chicken marsala and tortellini in a creamy fontina sauce for our mains and we were not disappointed. Despite a devastating loss of a beloved family member the morning of our wedding, this team made sure we had the best day possible. From the bottom of our aching hearts, thank you. I would recommend the Healthy Cafe Catering Company over and over. Betsy was a dream to work with and the team who served our guest was incredible.

The owner of this company was screaming, belittling and pointing her finger in the brides face over a mistake THE OWNER made. Mind you, this was in the middle of the dining room for everyone to see. You tell me if you want to support a company like that.

Food is bad, owner’s attitude is worse. Absolutely shameful excuse of a caterer. I watched the owner degrade, disrespect & yell at the bride over HER OWN MISTAKE! I think they’re also afraid of seasoning. Food was barely even warm. Shame on them!

I wish I could give more than five stars! Marissa was wonderful to work with…very helpful, patient and professional. Most importantly, the food was delicious! I look forward to working with The Healthy Cafe Catering again.

Extremely rude, unapologetic, unprofessional, and not the type of owner, or employees, you’d want to be dealing with on your event day.

recently attended a friend’s wedding and was excited to try the vegan food, since the bride and her entire family are vegan. When I asked about the vegan entrée, the staff seemed confused and eventually pointed me “by the back of the trucks.” When I got there, there was no staff, no serving utensils, and an entree sitting out in the pitch black by the parked trucks where no other food was.

The most shocking part was seeing the owner, Betsy, yelling at the bride instead of apologizing. She even mentioned that she only cared about not getting bad reviews Some of the younger staff were giggling, which made it seem like this might not have been the first time something like this happened.

Mistakes happen, but professionalism matters. To mishandle the food and then attack the bride on her own wedding day is completely unacceptable.

I'm sure the owner, Betsy, may try to respond with some snarky or untrue excuse—but if I can stop even one person from using this company, that’s enough for me. My guests were shocked at the way she yelled at me in front of a dining area full of people—she has zero class.

After my wedding, I reached out to Betsy from Healthy Cafe to raise serious concerns, and her direct written response was: “for me this was in one ear and out the other.” That dismissive comment perfectly captures the type of service and total lack of accountability I—and you—might experience with this company.

At my wedding, she completely forgot the vegan main entrée—one-third of the planned mains. This wasn’t a minor oversight. I, the bride, am vegan, my immediate family is vegan, and she knew this from the start. Making this right was incredibly important, and she failed.

When I calmly approached Betsy about it, instead of handling the situation professionally, she immediately attacked me with yelling and arguing, only to be proven wrong later (yes, she admitted her mistake). She chose confrontation over accountability, showing a shocking lack of professionalism.

She even resorted to name-calling, labeling me a “bad communicator”—ironic given her own repeated mistakes throughout this whole process -- including overcharging me by nearly $700).

On top of that, we paid $100 specifically for trash removal, and after her team left, we were left with six large bags of garbage. Not saying they didn't clear any, but just a note as to what we were left with.

Even worse, she only offered a refund after I mentioned leaving a bad review. That says everything about how she runs her business: accountability only when her reputation is at risk, never when she actually makes mistakes. My guests were shocked at the way she yelled at me in front of a dining area full of people—she has zero class.

Her repeated errors, her choice to belittle and attack me instead of owning her mistakes, and her dismissive, disrespectful behavior ruined what should have been one of the happiest days of my life. No bride, family, or client deserves to be treated this way. I strongly urge anyone considering Healthy Cafe Catering to look elsewhere.

I was unsure what we needed to make our event perfect but Betsy was so helpful and patient in helping us to decide. Betsy helped to make our vision a reality. Not only were all of the decisions spot on but the food was beyond exceptional. The waitstaff at our event were so helpful, experienced and accommodating. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about the experience from start to finish.

The Healthy Cafe catered our wedding. They did a great job with being prompt with the delivery. Everyone commented on how the food was delicious!

They catered our son’s wedding for 100 people and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, beautifully displayed, and there was more than enough for everyone. They arrived on time, handled everything with total professionalism, and made it feel effortless — which, let’s be honest, is priceless on a big day.

This wasn’t our first time using them either — they also catered my husband’s 60th birthday brunch, and that was equally amazing. Different vibe, same top-tier experience.

If you’re looking for a caterer that consistently delivers exceptional food and service, The Healthy Café is it. Highly, highly recommend!

Healthy Cafe catered our 80-person rehearsal dinner and did a FABULOUS job. Betsy was responsive, helpful, and warm throughout the planning process, helping us pick a menu that fit the picnic style feel we were hoping for, including being receptive to a few off-menu ideas my wife and I asked to add. The Healthy Cafe team at the event was so wonderful, professional, and easy to work with. All the food was incredible. Healthy Cafe is a great value, incredible quality, and a joy to work with; we would choose them again in a second for any catering needs.

With a month left until our wedding, our other caterer became unresponsive and we opted to search for a new one, finding healthy cafe catering. Betsy answered our inquiry extremely fast, was super helpful and understanding of our situation and thankfully they had availability. She allowed us to use the items we had already purchased, was super receptive to our guest’s allergies and my favorite part is her telling me I was trying to order too much LOL. Nothing solidifies an honest and great business like saving a customer from spending more than necessary. I cannot say enough good things about her and our lines of communication.

The staff, Jean and cristen, she sent to handle the event itself were an absolute dream. They were so great with our guests, went above and beyond what was expected of them and even more than that they had great personality and got along so well with our crazy family.

The food was amazing, almost every guest, even those who are notoriously particular, made it a point to ask who we used and say how flavorful and well prepared it was.

5 stars isn’t enough. Thank you all so much.

Healthy Cafe was fabulous! The food was delicious, and they worked with me on delivery time and setup. I ordered from them for a holiday dinner for my clients, and everyone loved it. The gluten free options were a huge plus. I would definitely order from here again!

The Healthy Cafe catered my daughter’s graduation party this past June and it was perfect! We did a brunch and all the food was delicious! We received so many compliments, even the kids commented on how great the food was. The Baked Apple French Toast was amazing and by far everyone’s favorite. Working with them from start to finish was simple and easy. They are very responsive during the planning process and delivered right on time. Absolutely wonderful experience, can’t wait to use them again and would recommend them to all my friends! Thank you!

I hired this company December 2023 for a bridal shower on July 21, 2024. I was very specific that I wanted a mimosa bar. They ensured me they could do this and they have worked with my venue MANY times. July 19, less than 48 HOURS prior to my event a coordinator informs me they FORGOT to apply for a temporary liquor license, but not to worry they won’t charge me for the mimosa bar and will give me sparkling cider. We had been communicating frequently for two weeks and never once did they mention an issue. They waited until very last minute on a Friday when my hands were tied and I couldn’t drop them to search for someone else. Did the owner call? No. Did I get a proper discount? No. Did they provide a verbal apology at the event that cost me thousands? Ha, NO! This place almost destroyed my event and they didn’t have a single care in the world. The venue tried to fix the issue and was apologetic when it wasn’t their fault. This company is unprofessional and their “customer service” is disgusting. I hired and paid my dues EIGHT months prior, if I “forgot” to pay I wouldn’t have had service. They do not care, clearly.
