The ambiance is reminiscent of a vinyl bar you’d stumble upon in Shimokitazawa. Avi is an excellent bartender; the cocktails were delightful!

Walking thru Larkin st and came across a bar full of records and wood paneling had to stop and go in. Whipped eggplant with pho cocktail was delicious. Bar tenders were attentive and seemed like they had regular coming and going. Good for tourists and seemed even better locals with the daily specials.

The cocktails were unique, the music was good, and they have a mechanical signboard device that shows off art and the drink list that is really, really cool.

Best old fashioned I've ever had. They really did a nice job with this space, and the menu. I love the upcycled items from LoFi. The whole vinyl / Hi-Fi is super neat. And the cocktails are great. It still gets a bit crazy on weekend late nights; which can be fun. But, the best experiences I've had is going earlier when they're not so busy. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

I live in the area and decided to pop in to check the vibe and get a drink.. I stood at the bar for about a half hour and was never acknowledged.. I even spoke to a customer next to me that was trying to decide on what they were going to drink and somehow they received multiple drinks before I did.. I didn’t want to be an a hole and just shout at the bartender or her bar back but even when I repeatedly said excuse me it became aware I was just being ignored.. I know on of the workers there and even he saw what was going on and called the bartender by name to get her attention to acknowledge me.. she acted as if she didn’t see me standing there.. she asked what I wanted, I told her, then she proceeded to service others (even the customer to my right that got there after me) and still I remained drinkless.. it sucks because this whole bad review thing isn’t even something I do but that was just a trash experience..
A well designed place with great musical guests. Bartenders can be pretty hit or miss when attempting to order drinks.

Had a great time at the Larkin Hi-Fi! Great craft cocktails, tasty sandwiches, cool vibes. The decor and theming is really awesome! Looking forward to returning soon.

Always the best bar in Albany I’ve been coming here since it was originally the Lofi but now it’s 50,000 times better and more open for everybody. I will definitely be back next weekend me and my friends love it.
