The Olde English Pub and Pantry

The food was not good - wings were unappetizingly huge and had barely any sauce and the fries were frozen shoe string fries with 4 choices of mayo based dip. The environment is really cool tho and the staff was awesome, I think this is more of a place to drink as they had a good selection of European beers. My craft cocktail coagulated bc it had cream and liquor in it. I feel bad saying the food was so bad because again they were really nice and the place is so cool but I feel like we wasted money on a frozen meal and want to deter others from experiencing the same.

French onion soup and Shepards pie (really cottage pie as they use ground beef) was excellent. However, the portions were disappointing. The shepards pie was in a small crock and needed to be about double the size for it to be worth the price. Service was great and cool place.

Cute little place with awesome outside area. Convenient to everything. Wish the parking was better, as theres only street parking and the owner took up the spot right in front.

This place used to be a go to for fish and chips. What I got served were two, wet fish sticks for $23.99 with a handful of french fries. Major disappointment and completely overpriced. Gone are the crispy, thick and juicy fish filets.
Their staff has always been friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. But man, what a let down on food. RIP Old English.

This is an example of a place where the reviews are propped up by its past and are not a reflection of the present. What used to be a high quality Anglo-Indian food menu is now a relatively basic offering with a couple British dishes. The fish and chips used to use a high quality fresh fillet, but the fish is now frozen square fish sticks. At least the drink menu and vibe are both still there - if you can get past the 80s music. They have a great back patio area except it always seems to be closed. I would recommend coming for drinks and maybe an app, otherwise you will probably leave disappointed after paying a decent amount for low quality food. I’d like to see this place get back on track and take full advantage of its cool location. And please open the back patio at all times - we don’t get many good weather months.

We have gone to this place multiple times in the past. This time what we ordered has changed. My wife(from England) and myself ordered the fish and chips. In the past a fillet was served. Now all you’re served are two oversized fish sticks for $23.99! Very disappointing.

Ye Olde English Pub is exactly what defines this place. Located in a 300 year old home built by the original Dutch settlers. We really enjoyed dining outside on a beautiful Summer evening. Wonderful service!
