I loved meeting the team at Paper Dragon on my first visit today. The menu is awesome and I plan to work my way through it. I started lighter with the Dragon Salad with curry chicken added. I love the char and wasabi peas added for crunch. I will definitely order chicken with it again in the future. The Tofu Katsu Bao is light and delightful, and the fried wonton crisps served with it are a great texture contrast. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the meat options.

I am so excited to have Paper Dragon close to my office. Loved meeting the team there and loved my first meal. Enjoyed the Dragon Salad with curry chicken added. Loved the light feel of the Tofu Katsu Bao. The won ton crisps are a delightful texture contrast. I look forward to working my way through the menu.

So good! Had the cheesesteak egg rolls and bao ( curry chicken, tofu Katsu, and general tso) everything was amazing! Staff is helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

As a displaced South East Pennsylvanian living in upstate NY I often crave a Philly cheesesteak. Problem #1 the meat: chopped (not shaved) steak. Problem #2 the cheese: stringy stretchy provolone? Wrong! (Melted creamy cheese). Problem #3: BELL PEPPER?! Why is that garbage vegetable on my Philly cheesesteak?! It's not a thing! Problem #4: the bread, fresh conshohocken roll. This place is, hands down, has the best cheesesteak I've ever had outside of Philly.

If you're looking for an authentic Philly steak sandwich, this is the place to go. I was planning on getting a noodle bowl but when the owner told me he's from the Philly area I had to give it shot - and I was not disappointed!

You DEFINITELY want to eat here. The food is out of this world. The chef is like a culinary Rick Sanchez pulling the best flavors from the food multiverse, taking your taste buds on the greatest thrill ride to euphoria!!!! Literally a party in my mouth and I look forward to eating here every time. The Asian fusion is done with perfect execution giving you a truly unique experience.

So far, I've had three of their menu items - the veg head bowl, vegan melted cheese sandwich and a baked Mac and cheese, which is not vegan. You can also order the melted cheese sandwich with regular cheese. I'm vegetarian, so I decided to try the Mac and cheese. I've been very happy with all the food I've gotten from here. This is basically a two person operation at the moment, and the owners really go out of their way to please their customers. They don't make their own baked goods, but as long as it's good and bought from a local bakery, that is fine with me.

I've been here quite a few times for both breakfast/lunch and can tell Jeff and Melissa (owners) put a lot of time and energy into this establishment. The food is top notch, the ingredients used are extremely fresh, and everything is cooked to order. It's nice to see a place in downtown Albany taking on Asian-themed cuisine. If you're a fan of sushi, try both the breakfast and lox rolls, you will not be disappointed. The rice that Jeff uses is really, really good. Also...Umami! The fifth taste! Nice to see it being utilized in a menu! If you're ever in the downtown area, do yourself a service and stop in.
