This was our family dinner to say goodbye to The Point, which had been our favorite restaurant since it opened!!! We are very sorry to see it close, but reassured by staff that some of the menu items will be included in the new Madison Cafe offerings.

Amazing! From the drinks to the food, waitstaff, atmosphere all the way to dessert.The atmosphere was very chill, lounge, relaxing. The waitstaff was amazing, friendly, welcoming and the best; funny! The food was so good, the butternut squash rigatoni was *chef kiss* amazing! The meatball appetizer and also baguette were so delicious. All of the drinks were perfect, especially the blueberry basiltini. The Chai old fashioned & dessert cocktail Almond Joy were also perfect.For dessert, on the menu tonight was the cinnamon roll cheesecake, genius! The crust made out or cinnamon roll, hats off to whoever thought of that! Amazing, delicious.We felt very comfortable the entire time, our waitress was amazing checking up on us the perfect amount and just having a lovely, personable energy.All and all, would 100% go back again. The prices were all very reasonable, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was beautiful!

I highly recommend this restaurant to tourists visiting and locals in Albany.I and my date had a delicious Sausage +pepperoni pizza and Shrimp scampi along side drinks.The ambience and staffs were warm and overall, the food was brilliant !!

First time we had dinner at the Point, the ambiance was wonderful, the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. The Point will be added to our list of great places to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself.

"Eggplant" Appetizer was almost nearly olives and came with two measly pieces of thin bread for half a saucer of whipped fetta and lettuce, was not advertised as a sports bar, there was a large table of nearly 25 people behind us screaming to the point where I could not hear my companion barely 2 feet across from me. The cocktail was good, but everything was overpriced. Waitress was kind. Left after the disappointing appetizer.

The food was to die for. We did wait almost an hour and a half for the food and it wasn't very busy. We actually had to ask for our food bc we watched 5 tables walk in and eat AFTER us. It was weird but the food was SOOOO good.

We had a business function with 90 attendees and the food and staff could not have been better. We had a buffet and the food was delicious and always replenished when needed. A great place for a large group with an excellent bar and group of bartenders. Every detail was excellent and the wait staff were extremely proactive and friendly. First time dining here, but we’ll most definitely be back. Great meal.

As always I was extremely pleased with my dining experience. Our waitress was exceptional and went above and beyond. She was courteous, very friendly and attentive. The food (we had appetizers and pizza) made my tastebuds dance. If you like margaritas you will fall in love with the spicy margarita. We moved inside to sit at the bar and our bartenders were equally amazing. If you haven't experienced the Point it is a must!

My partner and I ate here tonight; we were celebrating her birthday. Started with a warm baguette and a bottle of malbec. Split a pepperoni pizza and chicken salt saltimbocca. Cheesecake for dessert. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. They give you a carafe of water; I love that. Really terrific service despite a packed patio. Will return soon.
Through Open Table, 15 min before the kitchen closed... Italian fare primarily....had spaghetti and meatballs and it was very good. I would return to try something else.Parking: Street parking only
This restaurant was amazing. The wait staff was fun and very comforting. The food was well presented and the tastefulnesses of everything we were served was outstanding. This is how restaurants should be. Exceptional food, as toot service and an atmosphere of relaxation. I loved it!!!!

First timers. Nice menu selection. Our server was excellent. Food was as described. Prepared excellent. We had a party of three and we all enjoyed ourselves. I thought the prices were good compared to the experience. I have a little hard time hearing with background noise. For me the music could have been turned down a little bit. We definitely would recommend the charcuterie board. Nice selection and variety and is great to share over drinks and conversation. Cheers.

Thanks to OpenTable for having this gem available. My boss came to town, so it's always nervewrecking go find the right setting for her. This place turned out awesome! Good food, inside or outside seating options, the staff was super friendly, even if they weren't the ones helping you. I can't wait to return and I highly recommend this place.
