The Scene Coffee & Cocktails

I went to The Scene this morning with my daughter in law and two granddaughters It’s a very charming place with cute decor. The service was excellent. My DIL and one of my granddaughters ordered from the lunch menu — a delicious panino and a yummy wrap. My other granddaughter ordered the Nutella Waffle. It was amazing. Alas, I ordered the avocado toast and it was very disappointing. It was very skimpy — very little avocado on one slice of bread. No poached eggs or burratta on the side. No fresh fruit. Very boring. Just seemed like an afterthought. I’ll be returning but will never order the avocado toast again.

Whether I am dining in or picking up take out, the food is always made to perfection. The friendly staff, great service, fun atmosphere, and amazing food has made The Scene one of my go-to choices.

This sure is one cool spot! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Shout out Hope for always being a welcoming face and always making me laugh!

The almond croissants are absolutely delicious, the cinnamon french toast latte will knock your socks off!

If you are in the capital region, the scene is the place to be!

I love love love the scene! The staff is so fun and super nice, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is like no other coffee shop I've been to! It is my go to spot to do work. I will go there anytime of day and am always happy I decided to go there. So welcoming unlike other coffee shops or franchised coffee shops (cough cough Starbucks). Genuinely can't rave enough about this place and its always a bonus to see that the staff genuinely care and enjoy working here!

I have been continuously going to the scene and it hasn’t disappointed me once! With the creative and extravagant menu, I never leave with a bad taste, food always has came out within 10-30 minutes even at its busiest times. The coffee is so rich and made to perfection in my opinion, also its comes out ridiculously fast which is huge. And lastly the atmosphere you get while sitting down is unmatched compared to other coffee spots in the 518. Would 100% recommend.

I've recently become a regular at the scene, and it is my new go-to spot if I am looking for a cafe to sit in and get some work done. It's a little more lively than a typical coffeehouse, which makes it a really fun and energizing place to hang out.

The coffee, food and cocktails are all great, and the staff are so friendly and funny. I usually sit at the bar, and the bartender has learned my order and gets me taken care of right away when I sit down. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole team!

I had the pleasure of trying The Scene for the first time and was blown away by every detail from the experience.

I live in a large metro city with restaurants on seemingly every block but none exude the atmosphere that The Scene has. It was exactly what I was looking for to sit down and enjoy a coffee, breakfast sandwich and catch up on the morning paper.

The service and hospitality were exceptional and the food was fantastic. The breakfast sandwich was the best I have had in a long time.

I will be back anytime I am in the Albany area.

I make this a must stop every time I am back home in the 518. Love coming here to grab their seasonal coffees as well as the food. I recently had their "American Dream" sandwich and it was fantastic. Would 10 out of 10 recommend the Scene.

I recently went to The Scene and got the new salad. It was very delicious and came out in a timely manner. We had a lot of interaction with many different employees, but Lia was our favorite. She was very willing to grab some extra dressing & an extra fork right away for me. She was very pleasant!

Love being seen, at The Scene. One of my favorite “all day” brunch spots on the east coast. My wife adores this place. Such an interesting concept! I’m a simple guy, black coffee and the scenewhich. That’s all I need to fuel the day! Keep up the great work team!

As nice and aesthetic this place is. I got FOOD POISONING from here. I ordered the stuffed banana Nutella waffles. Never would have imagined something like this could have happened from here. This was NOT my first time here. I had to be admitted to the hospital for 3 days on sepsis watch because the food poisoning was that bad. To top it off I had to return because my symptoms had come back. When I called to let them know this happened. They did not apologize to me and in return said, “What do you want us to do?” Not even an apology is crazy to me. I personally will never be going back here ever again after the hell of a week I went through. I’m truly truly so upset because this was in fact one of my favorite places.
