The Scene Coffee & Cocktails

I had a frustrating experience at The Scene today. I was excited to try a new place, and I thought the ambiance was nice. It was not very crowded inside, but the staff at the front seemed a bit overwhelmed. I ordered a drink that was delicious and came out promptly. However, I also ordered their fall special salad but specifically requested no meat on it. The salad came with bacon, but I am unable to eat pork. It took about 25-30 minutes for the salad to come out (which was fine, I was not in a rush), but there was a lot of bacon on top of it. I alerted the woman working at the front, and she was very kind and apologetic and said it would be remade for me. I asked them at this point to just make it to go. I was promptly brought the remade salad in a to go box, and I left to go home. When I arrived home and opened the salad, under the cheese/spinach at the top I discovered a large handful of bacon. I ended up just having to throw the salad out, which is a huge waste. While this is not the end of the world, it was frustrating to have had this experience and to spend $16 on a salad for nothing. I should have checked the salad again before I left, but this error also should not have happened twice. With the high prices, mistakes made, and slow service, I will not be returning to The Scene.

We recently had the opportunity of hosting a bridal shower at The Scene and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! From the very beginning, Kevin was such a pleasure to work with — kind, attentive, and so thoughtful with every detail. He made the planning process stress-free and on the day of the event, he and his team went ABOVE and beyond to make sure everything flowed perfectly. The food was fresh, the drinks were a hit, and the atmosphere of the venue was just beautiful — it fit our “Love is Brewing” theme like it was made for it. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the space and the service. We left feeling so grateful for Kevin and his staff, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Honey lavender latte very tasty. Egg scramble is savory.
Ambiance reminds me for a French pattiserie. Food was tasty and I would recommend.

Cool atmosphere. You seat yourself, I didn’t realize you order off a QR code and pay directly online. Kinda pricey. Someone brings you the food and any specialty drinks ordered, but you get your own water. The food and drinks were delicious, but this didn’t feel like a true restaurant experience to me.

I called to inquire about having a family party and was told the manager would call me back because my party was larger than they normally accommodate. I never received a call back which is rather unprofessional. This left me with a bad taste so I will be leaving this establishment off of my list of to-go places. I don’t know how the food is but the service is a zero.

It's a nice looking place. But it's a self-serve off of barcode, off of your table. You don't see the wait staff. Not a fan of that style. Food was ok, food but typical.

Found the service stuck up and food definitely overpriced for what it is. Not worth it, very anti climatic. Atmosphere feels like it is trying to hard to be something that it’s not.

Beware! They force automatic gratuity no matter how small your table is and I tried asking the manager to change it, she lied and said she would, hung up, never gave me even a penny back. On top of that, they never warned about automatic gratuity anywhere and service is lacking, everything is done on a QR code and the servers are basically food runners.

Disappointed. We have been wanting to try for sometime. For my daughter’s birthday we decided to go. Inside is just as beautiful as outside. Not a fan of the QR code ordering and paying. Definitely like interaction with staff so that was disappointing. Food came out at all different times, 6oz lemonade filed with ice $3.50, total for (4) people was $120. I understand the cost of doing business but pricing is excessively high. EXTREMELY overpriced, food was OK at best, not a place I will ever go back to. Left feeling disappointed and robbed quite frankly.
