Had an amazing time at The Yard Sports Bar tonight! We went axe throwing and it was an absolute blast—such a fun and different experience. The food was great, the drinks were on point, and the atmosphere made it even better.
What really stood out was the staff—super friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time.
Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking to have a fun night out!

Took a party of six to the Yard Hatchet House and Bar for a fun night out, and it did not disappoint. The new owner, Justin, was very engaged and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The atmosphere and space were great—plenty of room to relax and enjoy the night. We had a blast throwing axes and playing cornhole . The service at the bar was very good throughout the evening. An absolute fun time for all of us, and we would definitely go back again.

Really thrilled with this place!!! My friend and I booked a throwing session tonight and we ended up staying to eat and chat for several hours after because the vibe was SO amazing! Big shout out to Christopher who hosted us and had the most inviting energy, he really made our experience memorable! The bartender was a total sweetheart too! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back! 🩵🪓🩵

Really cozy and amazing place. Don't let the size of the space intimidate you. There's a lot of activities to do whether in small or large groups. There's also an outdoor area that still private from the public for small group gathering and chill 😎

Chris and the other woman who was working the night of 9/16 (I unfortunately didn't catch her name) were so accommodating when we had to cut the attendance of our event almost half the day before, and also had to start much later than we anticipated. They went above and beyond for us multiple times- at one point our friend had been trying to find parking in Albany for over 30 min, and the woman who had set up our food for us kindly offered to get on the phone with our friend and direct them to potential parking spots, and it worked! The food and drinks were great, the vibe was chill, and the games were super fun :) Will def be going back with a larger group.
